N & S Towing Reviews (6)

Review: Called and asked to Speak with [redacted] the boss. I was told 5 times over two days that he would call me back. Today [redacted] answered the phone and said [redacted] was to busy to speak with me about my issue. (The tow company admitted to damaging my car while towing it). The person that I spoke with [redacted] said it cost more to fix the damage then it did to repair it, this is the reason they are not willing to adjust my bill/charges $253.41

I had to have people drive me to and from the tow lot. I had to arrange for a ride to and from work. and I was without a car for the time it took to repair it. Still no compensation. [redacted] the person on the phone said I lied to them about my wife being out of town, then I walked in with her three minutes later. that's why I was not getting any refund. I told him My Mother brought me in so he had me confused with another customer. Either way I didn't know how this had anything to do with my car being damaged, and me being without my car for a day.Desired Settlement: My $253 should be cut in half. This is what I would like done.

When Mr. [redacted] came into our office we informed him that our driver bent the tie rod on his vehicle. We told him that we would get his vehicle taken care of as soon as possible. We did explain that he would need to get an a wheel alignment done to pertect the wear on his tires. We did have a wheel alignment done and his vehicle returned to him.

I don't even know where to begin. Our work van was involved in an accident the other night. MPD towed our vehicle to this unfortunate place of business. I called at 9am to get information on when I could pick up our vehicle. The gentleman gave the information I requested. We drove from Wales to West Allis to pick up our van. We get there and they let us know that there's a "police hold". Nothing was mentioned to us that morning about a hold. Had there been, we would've contacted the Sergeant on duty and figured it out before even going to the tow lot. I asked the young woman why nothing was mentioned about this hold previously, and she preceded to tell me that it wasn't her responsibility and that we just have to deal with it. I told her that as a business owner myself, she was handling the situation with zero professionalism and zero customer service. She told me to "get the [redacted] out of my shop". I left and called our Sheriff. The next morning the Sheriff released the hold on our vehicle. I drove back down from Wales with my husband with a check in hand (of which they knew I had out the day prior). The same young woman looked at me and said, "What the hell are you picking up now?" I told her I was here for the van and we had our own trailer to get it. She told me I was here yesterday and that I should know they don't accept checks. So we let another business day go by for nothing. Now today, my husband and employee went to the yard to get it out. Two young black men walked in looking to get their vehicle out of the tow lot. A older man and older woman looked at them .... sitting about 30 feet away...and told them to "get the [redacted] out of our shop you smell like weed". They didn't smell at ALL. They were extremely respectful and extremely cooperative. Talk about racial profiling!! My husband paid the amount owed in cash to have our van taken out. He was then told that he couldn't go back to get his van even with his own trailer even though we had paid. He was then told there would be an additional $25 fee TO BRING OUR VAN TO THE STREET.....just a couple feet away!!!!!!! My husband called the Sheriff and the Sheriff understanding our frustrations at this point called them and told them to release the vehicle or he would be coming down. I want to warn ANYONE that if you HAVE to have your vehicle towed....STAY FAR FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. They are state funded and clearly do not care about customer service or professionalism in any way. I am making a complaint through the state, their licensure and through the Revdex.com. They should not be allowed to be state funded when they treat people like this. I am a business owner and I would never in a million years treat a paying customer the way we have been treated, and the way we have now witnessed others treated...along with un-needed racial profiling.

They were nice on the phone and helpful in my daughter car accident. The tow guy came much faster than the cops and he was nice to. They towed where we asked them too in timely fashion. I had a great experience with N&S towing.

Review: N&S towing was dispatched to tow a vehicle I own from an underground parking garage to Girard's service center on Rawson Avenue in Franklin on 4/3/14.

On 4/5 Girard's calls to say vehicle is fixed and ready for pick up in which at 10:30 I depart residence to pick vehicle up.

Upon arriving at Service center I, and my wife, notice a long scratch along wheel well of passenger side front tire ( that was not there before ). I go out to inspect and notice damage to said wheel well.

I question [redacted] at Girarad's and gives me the number to N&S to file a complaint.

I begin calling N&S towing starting at 10:46am on 4/5/14 in which they threw the blame on Girard's saying it could have happened over there. I request to speak to management regarding the situation.

On 4/7/14 I finally speak to Tony at N&S and he refuses to take any accountability for this and claims his driver " did not do the damage ".

I express my displeasure to Tony in which I was told "Have a nice day sir!" and hung up on.

On a side note, the tow driver also broke a piece of wood off the "wood enclosure" to the garbage dumpsters while backing in. According to Tony at N&S he also caused damage to the tow truck in doing so. This is probably why the driver won't admit to additional damage.Desired Settlement: I believe that N&S needs to take accountability for their drivers and strongly feel that they need to compensate me any charges that it will take to get the damage to the vehicle repaired.

Our truck was damaged as our driver caught a piece of wood that was a garbage can corral. He backed down to the customers vehicle.

Review: Motor vehicle accident which resulted in the West Allis Police Department offer to call N&S Towing as it would be "free". Officer mentioned this twice. As it was late night and I wasn't thinking clearly, I trusted the officer and agreed to have N&S Towing take the car. At this point, we did not know whose fault the accident was as the officer indicated he would need to review the video cameras it it would be a few days, that the car was totaled, and it would be "better" and "free" if he called the tow truck. After a few days, we went to N&S to clean out the car as we were told the accident was our daughter's fault upon review of the video. As we do not have collision insurance and liability only, we accepted this car would be a total loss and would be destroyed. After several days my daughter stated she had forgotten a CD in the car. I called N&S again to see if they still had the car because the initial call, the representative indicated sometimes cars are moved to a "cheaper" lot because they are expensive. On 7/18/15 N&S informed me that there was an outstanding bill of $350! Much to my surprise as I didn't know there was a bill. The rep told me to "act an adult" and hung up the phone (twice). I called AAA to pick up car and they needed assurance the bill was paid. N&S said they would not take credit via phone. Upon arrive to N&S I had AAA on the phone to confirm I was indeed paying the bill. Owner appeared to have an attitude with me and would not talk to me if I was on the phone (with AAA). He then stated he would not take MY credit card and I would have to go to ATM and bring cash. I called the police to inform of what appeared to be a shady operation. Police informed me that I should get a receipt for the cash and to call back if I didn't. The bill included $100 tow fee (which the city contracts for less and I was told was "free"). After the owner got my cash he said "now see if you would have been nice this could have been avoided". This is how you treat customers?!Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of $337.92 and this company to not have a good rating because they are bullies as they have a contract with the city of West Allis for towing. They are unprofessional to say the least, rude and inappropriate, there isn't ANY customer service and they strong arm you into doing whatever they want because they hold your vehicle hostage. In my opinion, they and quite "sketchy" and would never recommend if they were the last tow on earth.

Review: My car was not supposed to be towed but N&S still did and charged me for it. I paid because I did not want to incur additional daily fees. My car was ticketed but not in a tow away zone but they towed it none the less. I even overheard them saying that the new driver was not supposed to tow it since it was not a trespass parking ticket I received. When I went in they did not explain anything about the cost or anything. Just asked for payment right away.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of $116.16
