Our company installed a new driveway for Mrs*** in April 2012. When installed, Mrs*** was reminded that, in the heat of the summer, because asphalt is now formulated at the asphalt plant with recycled products in an effort to go green, that she should keep her car in motion before
turning her car wheels in an effort to keep tire marks off the newly installed drivewayOur company purchases the material already mixed and we install the drivewayWe do not make the asphalt, we simply truck it inMrs *** did not heed to our advice and the following year, October 2015, due to excessive tire impressions, we removed the newly installed driveway and repaved the whole thing at no charge to Mrs ***Mrs*** was a very nice woman who had just recently lost her husband of many years and we did not want to cause her any more pain during a very difficult timeAgain, we advised Mrs*** to please keep her car in motion before turning her wheels on the new installed driveway when temperatures are high in the summer.In August 2016, we heard from Mrs***Tire impressions on one side of the drivewayI sent someone out to look at the driveway immediately and did let her know that before the season was over, I would send someone over to heat and mend the spots for herThe issue was not as bad this time and we could correct it.At no time did we ever promise to install any cobblestone apronsThe estimate that was originally agreed upon by Mrs*** makes no mention of cobblestone apronsOur company does not even install cobblestone aprons and if a customer requests cobblestone aprons we advise the customer to hire another contractor for this work.We take pride in our work and we will mend the spots on the side of the driveway for Mrs***We feel we have gone above and beyond for Mrs*** and we are very saddened to see her falsify this claim.Sincerely,*** * *** ***
