This guy, Kevin M***, is a scam artistMy car broke down on the side of the road, he came along with business card and a tow truck, and seemed legit He said he had an auto repair shop, he did not (Turns out he lives in a low rent motel in a bad area.) He told me my car needed a motor and we paid him dollars After weeks, he never put the motor in, and I never got my car back He gave us another vehicle instead, which is run down Then police depts had to be called because he sold my original car to someone else in a neighboring cityI have never been through such an AWFUL, unprofessional experience in my life The guy yelled in my face, inches from my face, used curse words and abusive language, as did his wife, and did not do anything he said he wouldA total con artist, "junkyard gypsy", and a ripoff He does NOT have an actual auto repair shop

This guy, Kevin M[redacted], is a scam artist. My car broke down on the side of the road, he came along with business card and a tow truck, and seemed legit. He said he had an auto repair shop, he did not. (Turns out he lives in a low rent motel in a bad area.) He told me my car needed a motor and we paid him 1300 dollars. After 7 weeks, he never put the motor in, and I never got my car back. He gave us another vehicle instead, which is run down. Then 2 police depts had to be called because he sold my original car to someone else in a neighboring city. I have never been through such an AWFUL, unprofessional experience in my life. The guy yelled in my face, inches from my face, used curse words and abusive language, as did his wife, and did not do anything he said he would. A total con artist, "junkyard gypsy", and a ripoff. He does NOT have an actual auto repair shop.

Review: On Sunday March 1, 2015, my Honda CR-V broke down. I was at the stoplight at the intersection of Jonestown Rd. and Country Club Rd. Something made a pop under the hood. The car cut off and I tried to crank it and it did crank but immediately cut off again. I was making a left turn onto Country Club Rd to go to work at the [redacted] at [redacted].There is a [redacted] center on Country Club so I coasted down the hill to leave it there. Mr. M[redacted] and his finance, Ms. Roman came in behind me in a silver Honda accord handed me his business card and told me he had 15 years experience doing auto repair. He looked under the hood and immediately said it was the distributor. He said he could have it fixed with in the hour and I would be back on the road. I had to be in at work at 2:00pm so I called my work told them what happen and could someone come pick me up which my customer service manager did.Mr. M[redacted] and Ms. R[redacted] were only too happy to fix the car. Probably a couple hours later called me said it was not the distributor, it must be the crankshaft position/crank angle sensor. I told him not to mess with the car, bring me the bill for what he done and I would pay him. He ask if I wanted the old parts, I told him yes, but he did not leave them because he didn't do the work. He did not give me a bill only half strips of paper where you can go on the auto parts website, print out the part or parts you are looking for along with the price of the part, then he charged a bogus tax on the parts. The total was 372.38 for parts plus 100.00 labor charge for a total of 472.38. Mr. [redacted] said he didn't take checks only cash and that is what I gave him and he is on our cameras at the store should the police need to get involved. Mock tired fixed my vehicle and it was the timing belt/pump. I don't think he knows how to repair, they go around looking for people like me that their car breaks down and they tell them as well, I can fix it and takes advantage. He is a mobile auto repair, I think.Desired Settlement: I want a complete refund, cash only. Mr. [redacted] is to bring it to the [redacted] on [redacted].I only work on [redacted] from [redacted] to [redacted]. I want him to bring it around [redacted], so that management will still be around. I will not be there on [redacted], I will be out of town.I think it would be in his best interest to settle this because I am not afraid to get the police involved.I will not accept any excuse that he forgot to leave the parts in the car. Thanks for your help
