Suggested a course of treatment without checking insurance
My wife (*** ***) went to DrNabors for dental issues While in the chair, the Drsuggested a course of treatmentUnknown to my wife, the Drnever got approval from our insurance company The action suggested by the Drwould have been rejected if we were told of the out of pocket expense We have incurred appox$worth of expense on a procedure my wife could have done without I contacted the Dr.s office and was told she would contact me This never happened I requested a refund, but this was denied
Also, my wife went in for a teeth cleaning procedure(we are allowed two free cleaning in a year from our insurance) She was told that the cleaning could not be completed and she would have to come back She was not, however, told that that the dentist office would charge again for the cleaningMy wife went to a new dentist and scheduled another cleaning in December The new dentists staff look
My visit to Nabors Dental was fantastic The entire staff was extremely professional and very kind They made me feel very comfortable and did a fantastic job taking care of my dental issues I would definitely recommend DrNabors if you are looking for a great dentist for yourself or your family!
I absolutely love Nabors Family and Cosmetic Dentistry The entire staff are friendly and I feel comfortable when I walk in the building like everyone is family The facility is much nicer than many offices I have been to in the past as well I first went to Nabors Dentistry at a time when I had no insurance to get a 2nd opinion because another dentist that I had seen said I had three cavities that I needed to get filled This was shocking since I had never had a cavity in my life and was going to cost me almost $out of pocket After seeing Dr Nabors she explained while I had a couple of teeth she was going to keep an eye on there was no reason for me to fill those cavities b/c they were so small and there was a good chance they would not get worse and gave me some great ways to keep my teeth healthy without spending all that money off the bat I felt that I finally had a dentist that I could trust Dr Nabors diagnosed what was right for me the patient and not what was right for her pocket book I recommend her to all my friends and family and cannot imagine going anywhere else
