Due to some personal  and medical issues there has been a great many delays in projects and repairs such as this one in the fall of the year. the company has lost some staff and the owner has been out multiple times for extended periods due to medical issues. these are just a few of the...

factors that have led up to this complaint. after the initial call one of the staff stopped out to look at the leak and noticed that a piece of aluminum flashing had blown off in the high wind weeks before. this was assumed to be the problem. materials was ordered and a few weeks later when the staff had time it was installed.  we were notified by Mr. [redacted] later that this had not repaired the leak once again someone stopped out to look at the roof and noticed that there were some shingles on the upper roof were curling up and separating this entire section was torn off and new shingled installed (existing house roof not the addition) old shingles on existing house. once again the leak was thought to be stopped  and once again we received word that the leak had not been stopped. [redacted] stopped out and removed sections of the drywall  so roof area could be visible and sprayed down the entire roof section with water to locate the leak. it was found that a piece flashing from the old house to the new garage was not long enough and was allowing water to flow freely thru and old siding jay channel on the existing house down over the old porch roof and into the garage.  Final repair the siding was removed from the section of the house new flashing were installed and sealed and the siding replaced. the interior drywall was replaced and refinished have not had any complaints since that time all repair work was completed free of charge

Review: We contracted with [redacted] Constuction to build a garage addition attached to our house in the Fall of 2013. There have been numerous issues with this project from the start but what is finally prompting a complaint is the following:

The garage roof is just under 2 years old and there has been 3 separate leaks. The 1st leak was at the back end of the roof which allowed rain water to run down on the inside of the fire wall. He did come and repair the roof, and he claims, that that section of the fire wall was also replaced. The 2nd leak was a few feet to the west of the 1st leak location. He did come and repair that. The 3rd leak occurred on September 8, 2015. Water was again coming in behind the fire wall leaking in above the door frame but in a different section of the garage than the 1st leak. We called Mr. [redacted] and he came and looked and said he would take care of it in the next couple of days. I called him again on September 14 to see when he would take care of the problem, and he said he had to order something. On September 18, it rained and water again was coming in. I called him and left a message basically pleading with him to give me a call so we could arrange a time for him to come and make repairs. He never called back. I called him again on September 24th two times and left messages asking him to give me a call. He never returned either of those calls. We have been just plain lucky that we haven't had a big rain lately.

I am requesting the following to resolve this complaint:

1.) That he come and make repairs in a timely and urgent manner to the roof where the 3rd leak has occurred and replace the fire wall section as was done for the 1st leak.

2.) I fear that the work on the roof was done so poorly that he give it a thorough inspection and proactively make any improvements or replacements that are prudent so that we have no more issues.

I would also expect these things to be done at no charge at all to us. I think we have a reasonable right to expect a less than two year old roof not to have such problems.Desired Settlement: I am requesting the following to resolve this complaint:
