We are in receipt of the above listed complaint from *** *** ***k and have reviewed his statements regarding the issue of returning productsIn conducting our internal review (which includes at least two phone calls) we would like to point out the following:*** *** has raised concerns
about allergic reactionsWhile we do not dispute that certainindividuals may have allergic reactions to a variety of products, this does not mean that the products in question are unsafe,Many individuals have Peanut allergies, but this does not mean that products containing peanuts are inherently unsafe or dangerous, if an individual has a known allergy Issue, it would be incumbent for that individual to enquire about a product's Ingredients if they are not known at the time of purchase.*** *** contacted us after his order was received to ask about the Ingredients, As I explained to him in our phone conversation, weare not the manufacturer of the product, but rather e distributor, If there was any question about ingredients, It should be directed to the manufacturerAs you can see from the screen shot below, the manufacturer is clearly listed on the website, A quick Internet search would yield the contact information for the manufacturer in order to get any concerns addressed.Additionally, we have a fully staffed Customer Service Department with experienced individuals that could direct *** *** to a reliable source of information or advise him of any concerns he would have prior to making a purchaseAs you can see from the screen shot below, our hours are clearly posted on our website, If there were questions about any concerns, *** *** could have called our office or sent an e-mailHis order on the Internet was placed about minutes after we had closed for the day.He would have had ready and easy access to our staff any time prior to placing his orderIf he had sentan e-mail, it would have been responded to on the next business day. As an example of the information that is available to our Customer Service personnel see belowIf the Information contained here would prove to be insufficient, there are phone numbers available for in depth content.We do not purposely mislead customers nor engage in any practices that are deceptive for the purposes of obtaining salesOur websites are designed in a manner that provides the most commonly sought out information by customers and laid out in a format that Is easy to navigateThey are not meant to be a technical treatise on ingredients nor any other category pertaining to the product.*** *** has expressed dismay about having to pay the return shipping for his orderAs I explained to him in our phone conversation, we would gladly pay for any return in which we had sent the wrong product or sent an incorrect quantityIn this instance, *** *** placed an order online and we processed that order for the correct items and quantities as input on the InternetIt was only after the order had shipped and had been received that we were made aware of his dissatisfactionSecondly, if he had asked us about the ingredients before placing his order, we could have avoided this entire situation.Due to the fact that we were not given a chance to address any potential customer concerns before the order was placed and that we had no way of knowing that a customer had allergy concerns, we respectfully request that this complaint be dismissed.It should be noted that the product has been received back at our facility and we have already processed a credit to *** *** credit card account for the product price on his order
