Like others, I am required to use Britton Pools under my [redacted] However, since purchasing my house I have had to call in service requests for my pool/spa heaterThis company sends out a guy from another company (contractor) who tells me the heater pressure switch is outThen he replaces it a few weeks later, same problem a day laterThey send another technician out that leaves a note on my door letting me know the pressure switch is out and he is ordering oneI called to get a status on the part and was told they were sending someone else outThe contractor technician again tells me the heater is bad and needs replacedA week later he calls to tell me that he needs to go back and take pictures to send to my warranty companyThis was the last week of JanuaryI just called [redacted] and they still have not received any picturesI filed a complaint with them and was told they are going to escalate to contracting department to send me another companyI would not recommend Britton Pools to my worst enemy!!!! Quite a bit more I could write on them, but I will stop hereI would recommend anyone who has a home warranty to let them know up front they do NOT want Britton Pools servicing anything on their pool

Dishonest, unreliable, life threatening repairs, poor work quality, rude!!! Would give zero stars if I couldWe had burned main pump at our pool Britton Pools got assigned by our home warranty companyThey came out quickly to assess the problem despite Hurricane Harvey, the guy told me he is required by the insurance company to install a rebuilt motor and an upgrade to a new motor would be 350$I did contact the main office and stated that a) it is not common practice to replace these small motors with rebuilt ones as they are to cheap to put money in rebuilding and b) the insurance as per contract allows but does not require to install rebuilt equipment and c) that a new one would be only 300$ elsewhereThe answer was rather rude claiming that they would not have to disclose why they would install a rebuilt but they would already discount the "new" motor by 50%, credit for the cost they'd charge to the insurance and would still loose money on it (right as if a company would loose money on something they are selling)I did agree to get the rebuilt motor installed as I needed to get it fixed and did not want to fall for them trying to scam meFirst appointment they missed with no callSecond someone came out and replaced our broken motor, however they replaced it with a too small motor which resulted in filter not working properly and motor shutting off every 5-10min as it was too small to drive the original now too big impeller on the pumpThe ground wires were not reconnected after the work was done, which created a potential life threat in our back yardThe equipment was neither tested nor timers were set and switched back on before the guy leftThe lable on the motor was missing and scratch marks were visibleI complained to the insurance but they asked me to give them a chance to make it right, I told them I cannot accept anything less than a new full spec motor with labels on which is required for electric motors according to federal code, I did agree at the endThe guy came out a second time claimed he brought a stronger motor nowThe motor looked like from the junk yard, was corroding and already falling apartI told him I could not accept this motor, he got aggressively defensive and left with a dissasembled pumpAfter discussion with the insurance I went and bought a new full spec motor at the local pool supply shop and paid $incltaxWhen assembling the pump I found out parts were missing which the pool guy must have taken so had to go and get these to finish the 30min repair myself

My home warranty company REQUIRED me to use Britton Pools to replace a booster pump motor that stopped working. The Britton Pools contractor, Casey, unlawfully "welcomed himself" to my backyard, without ringing my doorbell or announcing his presence. I have it all recorded on my outdoor video surveillance system. Further, his car nor his attire did not identify himself as a Britton Pools employee. Lastly, after installing the new motor, he removed all of the stickers and tags from the motor that are required to be in place by Federal Code. I STRONGLY recommend anyone avoid doing business with Britton Pools. Their business practices are illegal and their employees do not comply with Federal Regulations or standard codes of conduct for professional businesses.

We had really wonderful customer service from Britton Pools Mark took the time and concern to help me diagnose the problem we had over the phone Mark was even able to help me resolve the issue! Very caring company and I would highly recommend!

Worst pool service company in Houston Broken and missed appointments and poor service Very unprofessional

Do not use Britton Pools They respond to the *** *** *** *** ***, OK, but not for what you are paying for First, you cannot call them on the telephone I guess they just have a store front for an office, with no one at the desk You have to email them to get any questions answered Customer service is not their strong suit I don't know how they stay in business So, here is my tail of woe:
I prepaid for a weekly cleanings Britton Pools was to come on a weekly schedule to clean the pool This was far general pool cleaning only, nothing exotic They missed the first and second week, and I had to email them to get them to come out This was repeated for the second cleaning which was also a week late The third cleaning was missed last week, and Britton pools says they have already cleaned my pool times Not true They want me to buy another month for $140, which is not going to happenDon't use them, I have been disappointed to say the least All I wanted from this company is have someone come weekly and clean the debris from the pool I guess they aren't up to the task

Shady company, they were dispatched to repair a pool heater, visits later still not working, each tome they said it was fixed, I also found pieces of the heater parts they broke in the pipes You can not reach them by phone, they have a recording stating hey are having phone problems, to contact them by email, yet no one will call you back Much more to say, my experience is just like the other posts Do your self a favor and go elsewhere

Worst pool service company everCame to install a new pool pump and caught the guy on my cameras throwing the pump from his shoulder to the concrete groundThey won't return phone calls they are a complete jokeDon't ever use them you will regret it if you do
