Will not respond back to numerous calls to cancel work and get deposit bacnI contacted [redacted] from nail it to assess my roof. After he gave me a proposal we schedules a date to have the work done after I gave them $350 for a deposit. We had to reschedule the appointment a couple of times because of the weather. I have been trying to call them for 3 weeks to cancel the appointment and get my deposit back because I am planning on selling. I have left numerous voice mails and now the mailbox is full.Desired Settlement$350 This is the deposit amount I have given them. I have a email receiptBusiness Response Hi [redacted],Per our conversation I am responding to the complaint received from [redacted] against our company Nail It Home Improvement. We originally began our working relationship with Mr. [redacted] in or about December/January [redacted] had gone out to property and gave Mr. [redacted] a quote on a roof repair. Mr. [redacted] accepted the quote and wanted to move forward. We set a date for a Sat he always had to have a weekend date due to his work schedule which we accommodated every time. We then collected a 1/3 of the job which was $350.00 we did this over the phone via credit card. The weather was not cooperating on the date we scheduled so we rescheduled. We did this several times and were always in contact with Mr. [redacted]. Finally after rescheduling so many times Mr. [redacted] decided it would be best to wait until the snow would hopefully stop falling so we scheduled for March 14, 2015. At this time [redacted] had been forwarding the business phone to his cell phone because I have been sick for the past year with [redacted] and was going through another surgery. Unfortunately, [redacted] voicemail became fill and he didn't realize it. Coincidently the week that it was full Mr. [redacted] couldn't get in touch with us and was very upset. I called the night before our scheduled appt like I had every other time. He told me he was very upset and no longer wanted to do business with our company. So we sent him a full refund even though we lost money because of the credit card fee. We sent it to the address we had for him which turned out to be his property address and not his residential address so it was returned to us. I called him and got the new address and re mailed him money orders instead so he could cash them immediately. He has received them he called to let us know.
