Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because:
this is not the true story
I told her what formula is typically used on my
hair but to use her formula to match my coloring
she made up her own formula and added baking soda
after her color application I ended up with an orange strip
down my center part Worse I do not have a center part
she spent several hours and used many products trying to correct
the damage She did not correct it but instead turned my hair
multi colored I should not have to pay for her to fix what she messed up
I have had two stylist tell me it will need corrected
Regards,
*** ***

from: *** *** ***to: [email protected]: Wed, May 28, at 9:AMsubject: You have a New Message from Revdex.com Regarding Complaint #*** NOT resolved Thank you for your assistance with this terrible matter.I did not receive the emails from May and I was out of town and had problems with receiving some of my emails. This has NOT been resolved. *** is not telling the truth I saw the box of baking sodashe did NOT explain to me how color would turn out NOR did she demonstrate a streak of my hair turning orangeI DID NOT tell her that it was fine if the color turned out orange. She did not use “my formula” I have had the same color for many years with the formula I gave her.She told me she used a different formula not what I gave herShe did not give me a discount of $ She over charged me She gave me an orange part line thenCharged me to CORRECT what she ruined She charged me for color, highlights, conditioner, toner Most of whichI would not have needed if she had not ruined the color in the first placeI did not agree that my hair looked goodThe person that works there did not look closely at my hair nor did she say anythingI told the person I know that was in the salon that *** totally screwed up my hair.He was trying to be nice by saying it was okay This was after hours of *** trying to correct the color. He did not see the whole process so it is unfair to bring him into the discussion. The only request I gave her was to match and blend in with current color at the time She said she could do that. She did not match the color She turned my roots orange and gave me an orange strip about inches wide which did not match, then tried to correct it with a bunch of different Colors and product Then charged me for themShe ruined my hair It is very damaged now. I will be happy to send a picture any time.Thank you*** ***

First of all, I used the exact same formula she told me to useI did not add baking soda, I added bleach powderI explained to her what the results would turn out likeI even demonstrated that by showing her a streak of her hair with an orange colorI told her that is how it would turn outShe said it was fine if the color turned out like thatIt is not my fault she did not like it, since I used her formulaI tried to help her by offering other servicesI offered her a service of highlights and she acceptedI gave her a discount of $I had charged her for the product used, the work, and time spentI have witnessesOne was the lady that works here, and the other was a customer(which she knows) who told her the hair looked good, and she agreed, she also said that I was still fixing some details

I am responding to the complain of [redacted] D [redacted], giving my best explanation, and telling the truth. [redacted]...

phone called the salon asking me if I had the brand for hair coloring named Matrix, and the coloring UL-A+. I had responded "yes" and she made an appointment. She asked me how much it would cost for a roots color re-touch, and I said around $60. She arrived to the appointment, and gave me the exact formula of hair coloring she'd like me to use on her hair. I knew this formula would leave a result on her hair of a gold or orange-like  color. I let her know that. I also showed her part of her hair that already had an orange-like color, I told her that would be how her root color would turn out. Although, she already had a mix of colors because some one else had done a different formula before me.     I applied the formula specifically how she told me to. After the right time, I washed her hair, and I decided to apply a toner to contrast a little the gold-like color of the roots so it doesn't look orange. When I brought her back to the station to dry her hair, she said she did not like that color. Because it looked orange. I told her I used the exact formula she told me to use. She asked me what else could I do so the color wouldn't look so orange. I suggested, to do highlights on all her head to even out all the different colors she had, and cover up the orange color, with the highlights. She agreed. I went ahead and did highlights with foils. When I washed her hair, I had to apply a toner again for the highlights. She was scared because I applied the toner again. I told her that was the last process. I offered her a deep conditioner treatment, since I noticed her hair was very dry before I started working on her hair. She agreed. She told me she was tired of me washing her hair.     When I brought her back again to the station, she wanted me to cut her hair. I did as she said, and cut her hair. I blow dried it, and we saw the big and beautiful difference than from her old hair. She liked it, but she saw a small spot of orange color under her bangs, the size of a coin. Because I should've put another foil in that spot. She said it was okay, the orange is not as noticeable as before. She asked me how much is the total cost going to be. I added up all the costs; $25 for the hair conditioner treatment, $40 for the hair cut, $135 for highlights all over her hair (very long hair up to her waist, and a lot of hair), and $60 for the re-touch on her roots using the formula she told me to use. The total cost was $260. When I told her the total cost, she said that the price was not fair. She asked me for my price list of the services to make sure. I showed her it, and she saw it herself. She started saying the opposite, that she did not like the color, that I was burning her scalp from the first application I did on her hair. Which was not true because I gave her a comb to scratch her hair, since she said her scalp was itchy. I was checking her scalp but the products did not burn her at all. She asked me if I could give her a discount since she did not agree with the total cost. I told her if she left without paying, I would call the police. She thought the price would be around $60. That's the price I told her for the root re-touch only. I told her how I spent almost 4 hours working on her hair, letting go other clients. I accepted to give her a discount. I gave her $65 off discount, so her new total cost was $195. She kept refusing to pay.      In the end, she paid. But, she threatened me saying that I will hear from her soon. Afterwards, I received a call from the hair coloring brand, Matrix, asking me what formula I used on her. I told her the exact same thing I'm telling you right now. She had called Matrix doing a complain about how the product affected her scalp. After that call, I have not heard anything from Matrix.       This is all of my version about this customer. I am a licensed cosmetologist for around 20 years. I've never had a complain from a customer that says I don't know how to do hair coloring or any hair cuts. I admire my profession, and worry about my clients hair all the time. The hair of this customer, [redacted] ended up very beautiful, and didn't end up damaged, just a little dry because she's had chemicals in her hair for a long time. If you'd like to call hair salons around this valley and ask the price for all I have done on her hair, it will be similar or even a higher price.    Thank you for taking in consideration my version of what happened.    [redacted],    ###-###-####
