Hi, we ask her to come in so we can see what happened to her nails and repair themIf she doesn’t want them to be repaired at that shop we can have here go to another nail shop in the mallWe do have a no refund policy in our shop, but we would be more then happy to redo her hands weather it
be in that shop or another nail shop in the same mall

We recently sold a home; however, the inspection report noted windows needed replacingGilbert Glass gave us various options and suggested the most economical oneWe had minimal time before closing and happily Gilbert Glass were able to order the parts and install everything within the tight frameThe workmen were respectful of our space, focused on their work and meticulous in cleaning up after themselvesIn fact when our neighbor came to see the work, he was very surprised at how clean the house was after some significant workThese people are great and I would not hesitate using them again or recommending their servicesThank you

I am rejecting this response because:
I was not told on the phone when I said I wanted my money back that there is a no refund policy and I was not told that if I did not want my nails repaired at there nail shop that I can go to a different nail shop in the mallIf I was told this on the phone when I said I wanted my money back I would've went to another nail shop in the mall

Our policy is No RefundYou said you’re not happy with the person did your nails at Nail Trix, now we offer a completely different salon (LA Nails)!to have your nails againThank you for your understanding

Review: On May 26, 2013, I went into Nail Trix Salon in the Silverlake Mall to have a set of acrylic nails done for my graduation ceremony which is on May 29th. When I walked in, there was no one at the counter to help me. They finally sat me down and the woman who did my nails, who is also the owner of the store, did a very sloppy job. The tips were put on crookedly and the glue was burning my fingers. She was very rough on my nails and the art was awful. None of the nails were even and even had chunks of acrylic stuck underneath. I told her I was unsatisfied but she continued to compliment herself regardless of the many cracks and bubbles in the acrylics and I finally found time to get them fixed today, May 28th.I called them to ask if they could fix my nail job and told them I would be there as soon as possible. When I got there, I told her I was the one who called and she made rude comments to embarrass me in front of her other customers such as "I told you to come right away and you left me hanging." She refused to re-apply any of my nails. She was rough and painful about doing so and only fixed one nail. She complained the entire time and made comments about how I ruined her "Lousy day." I asked for a refund, which was $40 and they refused. My boyfriend, who payed for the nails in the first place was asked to leave for absolutely no reason and he asked them not to be rude to me any longer. A young man, (another employee) began yelling at him and calling him a "tough guy." The owner who was doing my nails told him to "stop bhing. I'm fixing her fking nails." I had a tape recorder in my lap recording the conversation. She did an awful job once again. The young male employee approached me and had the audacity to insult my maturity and unprofessionally call my boyfriend petty names. He said "Congratulations on graduating. Maybe now you will have the maturity not to call up the thugs next time to take care of your business" It was unbelievably rude, unnecessary, and unprofessional.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund for the $40 nail job that was done horribly, twice.I would like to inform the public of the unprofessional-ism and lack of respect they have towards their customers.

Response:

On the afternoon of May 28, our store was fairly busy. I was approached by a young lady who asked for my assistance. She stated that her friend was receiving bad service and if I could help her, I immediately tended to the issue at hand, Her friend happened to be the young lady who previously had a nail service two days prior, and I remembered her. I approached her calmly and professionally and asked how I could help her. She responded that all of her nails were applied wrongly and were crooked. I asked to see the nails and one nail was visibly crooked. The finger which it was on was crooked at the knuckle, thus making the nail look out of place when compared to the others. All the other nails were the same length and symmetrical. After speaking with the technician who did the service she told me she spoke with the lady on the phone earlier and she told her to come in to fix any issues. At the time of her phone call there were not any scheduled clients; however, by the time the young lady arrived all the stations were filled. The young lady was at that time notified of the approximate 30 minute wait time before she would be able to be seen, which she said she was okay with. While getting her re-work done I was tending to the books and the front of the store, when a young man angrily walked past me and into the store. I asked him if I could help him, knowing that he was kind of out of place in a nail salon. He then stood over hr nail station where the young lady was, trying to put on an intimidating posture towards the nail tech. The young man said that he was with the young lady. The nail tech asked the lady if he was with her and she agreed. So the nail tech offered the young man to pull up a chair because it was kind of awkward and the tech needed to focus on her work. At this time the rest of the other employees and myself were busy with our closing duties, me with our daily logs and books and the others doing the last bit of cleaning. At one point I heard one of the techs politely state "honey do you mind waiting in the chairs in the waiting area, we are trying to clean up". Again she asked him, I looked over my shoulder at this point, because he wasn't responding to the request. So I asked him in the same professional manner to wait in the waiting area. He stood up abruptly looking annoyed and said, "don't be fking mean to her". I responded that the young lady was having her issue worked on and that there wasn't a need for him to be there to try to pressure us or try to intimidate anyone. He repeated his statement again followed by "but if you wanna keep making threats"... I hadn't threatened or said anything unprofessional at all for him to say that I was making threats. The nail tech then said "honey I'm taking care of her now, what are you bhing about?" He then tensed up, with a frustrated type of body language and said "man you guys are fked up". Not knowing how much the situation would escalate I felt it necessary to take the daily income cash, checks and receipts to the back room and get them put away. Since the young man had seen me counting and tallying up our daily. Then another young male form the group positioned himself at the front of the shop and was looking at our signs and prices. I asked if I could help him, he asked me what was going on..... I informed him that we agreed to do re-work on the young lady's nails and that there really isn't a need for all the different people approaching us about the matter. He responded "oh, I know my mother comes here and she loves you guys".After a few more minutes the tech was done and asked if the young lady if she was satisfied and if she was happy with her nails. The young lady said yes she was. She was then moved to our drying station to dry her nails. At Nail Trix we encourage our clients to say if they aren't satisfied with their service. So I approached her to make sure that she was completely satisfied, not mentioning anymore issues or complaints. She then apologized for her boyfriends behavior and said that she was happy with her nails, I told her "No worries, and congratulations on graduating, and that I hope that now that you can see that you don't always need to call in for thug reinforcement". She smiled at me and nodded. After a while the young lady stood up from drying her nails and started walking out, I told her goodnight and that we were happy we could fix her issue, She then said "you know you didn't have to say that about my boyfriend, fk you". flipping me off as she left. Her and her entourage then walked past the front of the store again, and I approached them so they couldn't enter the store. The second gentleman said "you guys just lost like eight customers man". The young lady then said I recorded this and I'm reporting you to the Revdex.com. I responded "do what you feel necessary but we did nothing wrong, we fixed your issue with your service". They then walked away. The group was trying to get a refund on her service. But that is not our policy. We are always more than happy to fix any issue and encourage clients to leave satisfied; thus leaving no room for refunds. It is unfortunate that the event unfolded as it did. We at Nail Trix treated the matter with a professional approach and feel no need to refund her money for the service she said she was satisfied with. At this point she has already given us bad pr with your bureau and her circle of friends. So the return of her money to buy back her vote so to speak is unnecessary and moot, Thank you for your time and for the chance to respond.

Deceptive, they did not tell me the white bottles were gel and chsrged me a higher rate. The woman you did my pedicure scruubed my foit on the heel, raw. You can go to Yelp and read more about my exoerience. I dud file a complaint with the Revdex.com.
