Naked Kitchen Reviews (13)

Review: I went to a bridal show in Little Rock, AR on August 18th and was advised by Naked Kitchen aka Smitten Kitchen that I had won a cooking class in a raffle. When we got to the cooking class, it was not a class at all but a sales demonstration. Although frustrated because I feel that my fiance and I were lied to, I was still interested in the product. We ended up buying a cookware set from the salesman. The set was to include the pots and pans and a set of knives. The selling point for us was that he stated if we bought the set, we would get a free honeymoon cruise. Sounding too good to be true, we asked him about it. He stated that cruiselines give out many free cruises, especially to honeymooners, because they feel that the people they give the cruises to will spend money and the cruiseline will still make a profit. My fiance and I signed the agreement and we were advised we would receive a call later to make a $100 down payment. We also played a game in the "cooking class" and we won a $50 Restaurant.com gift certificate, which he advised would be mailed to us. Of course, we have yet to receive this.

Well, we had absolutely no difficulty reaching the finance company and I attempted to make the down payment but they stated it had to be made through the company that sold us the cookware. We did not have a good phone number for them so we waited. Within about 2 weeks (beginning of September or so), we received the cookware but not the knife set. The salesman had advised us before that they would come separately.

I received a call from [redacted] on September 4th asking for the down payment to be made. She advised me that I could call ###-###-#### or I could send an email to [email protected] for assistance. Whenever I call the toll-free number, it rings forever and no one ever answers. I also tried the number that was on the caller ID when she called, which was ###-###-####, which led to the same phone tree as the toll-free number. I called everyday for almost a week before I got fed up and tried email. I sent an email to the provided email address on October 1st and have yet to receive a reply. I also still have yet to receive the knife set or the information on how to receive my free honeymoon cruise.

I feel like this company is a scam and I fell for the bait. The only reason I purchased the $1600 cookware set was because I felt the free cruise would off-set that amount: I felt like we were paying for a cruise and getting a free cookware set. This company is impossible to get a hold of and based on all the other complaints, it seems like they don't do good business whatsoever. From the other complaints, it looks like this company just goes across the country, bridal show to bridal show, taking advantage of brides-to-be.Desired Settlement: I would like to receive my knife set, considering it has been almost 2 months since I ordered them and they still haven't arrived. I would like to receive the voucher and/or information on how to get the free honeymoon cruise I was promised. I would like the $50 Restaurant.com giftcard we won during the sales demonstration. And lastly, I would like an apology for their horrible customer service and shady business practices. I want to receive a call from someone higher than "[redacted]" who can correct this situation and explain what happened.

Review: My fiance and I attended a cooking class in February 2013 and were informed that any items purchased would be interest free for a year. My billing statements show a finance charge each month. I called [redacted] and was told that the contract I signed did not acknowledge interest free financing, but if I was able to send them something stating interest free financing they would drop the interest charges. I attempted to contact Naked Kitchen to rectify the situation. I spoke with a representative in the bridal department (phone number: ###-###-####) on September 4th, 2013 who told me she would forward my message to her manager. She stated she was not employed on the date of the transaction and is not aware of what their promotions were at that time. I have yet to receive a call from anyone from Naked Kitchen. I attempted to call their phone number today (9-10-2013) but the phone number I called had been disconnected. I found another phone number (###-###-####) and was not able to get a live person on the phone. The only option was to leave a message.Desired Settlement: I would like a statement that I can send to [redacted] notifying them of the interest free financing I was promised, in hopes that the interest charges will be dropped and I will be reimbursed for the interest that I have already paid.

Review: I went to the naked kitchen "cooking class" assuming it was a cooking class (3/19/2013)... long story short, it wasn't what I expected, but I really liked the cookware. So I agreed to purchase it but only because they stated that included with the purchase I would receive cruise tickets and (2) $50 gift cards for restaurant .com with my purchase of any cooking set they had on display during that "class." It has now been about a month and a half and I haven't received anything from this company. Not a reply to an email, a call back, or the tickets and gift cards they promised would be part of the transaction. I have received the cookware but it has remained unused. The only thing that keeps me optimistic about all of this is the fact that I recorded the entire demonstration and have the proof I was promised these things I am claiming.Desired Settlement: I would like this contract to be terminated immediately due to the fact that naked kitchen breached the contract by not providing the cruise tickets or the gift cards in a timely manner and showing absolutely no intention to provide me with anything they claimed in their demonstration (3/19/2013). I want all of my money refunded immediately or I will proceed with legal action.

In regards to the complaint by [redacted], it indicates that

he did not receive his cruise and hotel stay sent out of our office via USPS.

Our records indicate that these were mailed out to Mr. [redacted] on March 29,

2013 with a typical delivery date of 3-5 business days. Unfortunately we cannot

find any record of e-mail sent to our office in regards to him missing or not

receiving his cruise and hotel voucher. We track the cookware and cutlery

shipments and due to both shipments being delivered on time and without a

problem, we only assumed that the hotel and cruise voucher were also received

by Mr. [redacted]. We apologize if Mr. [redacted] has not received his package from

the USPS and we will immediately verify his address and resend his gift package

to the address provided.

There was no intent to not deliver the gifts including the hotel

and cruise voucher to Mr. [redacted]. Unfortunately due to recent relocation of

corporate headquarters, if this package was returned and we had already moved,

we would be unaware that Mr. [redacted] did not receive his package. We hope that

by re-sending both the hotel voucher and cruise package this will resolve the

issue. We have included an additional $50 giftcard

to [redacted].com for any inconvience

that this may have caused. If we can be of any further assistance to Mr.

[redacted], he can contact us at ###-###-#### or via email at [email protected].

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

[I do not want to deal with this company any longer. I want this contract terminated immediately. I will return the products as soon as I am told the document has officially been ended. Everything that was delivered to me has remained unused and is still packaged in the original boxes. I do not want anything else to "rectify" this situation. The only solution is for Naked Kitchen tell me in writing the terms are no longer valid. I ask that I receive a response right away or I will file a lawsuit against this so-called company.]

Response to complaint ID [redacted],

I want to first apologize for any and all misleading information you were told and for the lack of professionalism shown by my company in handling your case. My name is [redacted] and I am the new manager here at The Naked Kitchen. I have been looking over your case and am appalled by the way it was handled. Unfortunately I cannot issue a refund and while I realize that is what you are asking for and that you have no desire to work with our company any longer, understandably so, what I can provide for you from here on out is professionalism, integrity, and the delivery of the promised gifts. The biggest thing I can offer you right now is my sincerest apologies on behalf of myself and the rest of the staff. We are now undergoing multiple changes and our number one concern is customer satisfaction. With that in mind I will be sending out your cruise voucher today. Unfortunately, due to the high volume of gifts I have been sending out, I had to order a new shipment and will be sending your restaurant cards as soon as the shipments comes in.

Your happiness is important to us and I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to correct this situation. Please feel free to contact me with any questions at 866-625-3390. I am in the office from 8 to 4 Monday through Thursday and 8 to 12 on Fridays.

Review: Nearly a year ago, I went to a bridal show and received a call about winning a free cooking class. As part of the class, we were promised a free cruise and hotel stay. The salesman continued to discuss the bridal promotion regarding financing the cookware, which was ideal. The salesman promised that the financing was interest free and the cruise was only so much for the taxes. Well my husband and I have made several attempts to call and contact naked kitchen regarding the "interest free" financing and the "free" cruise. After several HOURS of calling no one ever answered a single phone call and my husbands emails ALWAYS went unanswered. I work full time and go to school in the evenings, I do not have endless amounts of time to constantly attempt contacting this company. We are being charged interest from Time Investment and the company handling the cruise wants several deposits for brochures to maybe eventually get the "free cruise". This is nothing but a scam, the only good thing to come out of this horrible company is the good cookware. We have already submitted a claim on our cookware and Regal responded within 24 hours. Do not waste time or money on this shady company, order the cookware through another avenue, it is nothing but a headache, waste of time, and money.Desired Settlement: I would like my "interest free" financing promised to be interest free or receive a credit for my interest. I took another couple who heard the whole scam and sales pitch and heard the interest free financing part as well. I would also like a truly free cruise and not have to pay for a brochure that will secure a brochure for the free cruise. If a true free cruise cannot be done, then I want the $5 we paid for the first brochure back.

Ms. [redacted]

and her fiance attended our cooking class in February of 2012 in El Paso,

Texas. After purchasing the cookware and signing the contract with the Naked

Kitchen, they were contacted by our finance division [redacted]. As is

standard procedure of [redacted], they disclose all terms and conditions

of the contract with the customer within 24 -48 hours after the contract is

signed. At which time, interest, payment amount and the ability to set up autopay

and online

account information is supplied to the customer. Interest is also disclosed on

the contract that the customer signs on the date of purchase.

In

regards to cruise, it is disclosed at the time of the presentation that is NOT

a free cruise. There are taxes and port fees, as well as it is the customer's

responsibility for travel or transportation to the port city. Naked Kitchen

supplies cruise vouchers at the time of the cooking classes that are there for

the customers to read in regards to any questions that they may have. The

packet that the customer receives in the mail provides contact information to

the travel agency responsible for planning and booking the cruise. They can

reached at the following number (813) 569-6817 or via email at [redacted].com.

As with every customer, we are

upfront and disclose all terms of the contract and the customer is given 72

hours to cancel the contract. At this point, we feel there is nothing to

resolve between the company and Ms. [redacted]

and question why after 15 months she has gone to the Revdex.com to resolve this issue.

As a distributor of the Lifetime Brand by [redacted],

it is our job to deliver a quality product in a timely manner. In this case, we

did just that. Any issues Ms. [redacted]

has regarding financing or interest will have be taken up with our finance division,

[redacted]. Or in regards to the cruise, the travel agency [redacted].

If we can be of any assistance to Ms. [redacted],

she can contact us directly 866.625.3390 or via email at [email protected]

Hello,

I did attempt calling the office but was unable to get

through. This issue is not resolved. I have eye witnesses from the exact same

meeting that interest free financing was verbally promised. The company did

disclose the taxes but never having to pay for paper work from the company. We

had to pay $5 to get a package about the cruises and additional $50/ person for

something else then $200/person in taxes. I only paid the $5 and want that

money back and interest free financing.

Within the first week I wasted well over 10 hours on hold

trying to get ahold of someone to confirm all promises but there pathetic

answering service never allows you to get through. So I did attempt to contact

them within the window but never got through. My husband sent maybe three emails

the first month and never received any response.

Review: My fiancé and I won a cooking class from the naked kitchen from the women's bridal expo. My fiancé and I attended and was impressed by the cookware. We were in dyer need of cookware so we decided to purchase. We were informed that if we payed in full we would receive extra bonus gifts so we decided to do just that. However, after 2 weeks of no payment being processed I had to call and email several times to receive an answer of " our payment process is not working." I would have expected a good business to call a customer when having issues but they didnt. We went to the class on June 19th and it is now August 9th and I still don't have the cookware. I called several more times and emailed several times and had to threaten to cancel my order all together to get an actual response. At this point I wish I would have canceled my order and dealt with the actual cookware company themselves. I very disappointed in everyone I dealt with from the naked kitchen. I do not recommend them at all, don't waste your time. The worst part is, I emailed the lady who held the class herself who gave me her email if I had any issues. I have emailed her three times at this point and absolutely NO response.Desired Settlement: I expect to receive my cookware as soon as possible. I've been told it will ship August 12th, but I don't have a clue how long it will take to ship. It would be nice if the company would have it shipped overnight since I've already waited nearly 2 months!!!

Review: First of all, the product that was described to us at the "cooking class" we attended was far from what we received. Our pans are definitely not "lifetime" material. They come with a lifetime guarantee, so naturally we tried calling to get our pans replaced because they are not working effectively. After calling the number on the lifetime warranty certificate, they told us we had to call the company from which we purchased it from, which is Naked Kitchen. After looking at our receipt for the pots and pans, there is no contact information on the form whatsoever. We called the financial institution that we financed these ridiculously expensive pots and pans from and they had to give us the number to call. We tried several times to call the company and it kept going to an answering machine. I think that this is highly unprofessional.Desired Settlement: We would just like to return the items and stop paying for them because they are definitely not what we were promised. Why should we keep paying for a product that does not work effectively when we cannot get them replaced or anything to that nature? They can keep everything that we paid up until this point, we would just like to cut ties with this company and end this nightmare.

Review: I received a phone call, after attending a bridal show in Austin, Texas, where they said I had won a free cooking class for my self and my fiancé. We both had to attend and after the class was over we would receive vouchers for a free two night hotel stay at one of their participating hotels. My then fiancé agreed to go because he just wanted the hotel stay and I really wanted some good advice on cooking and little did we know that it wasn't really a cooking class but a play on words to get you to come in and sit through their sales pitches. When we got there the first problem was that the cookware and cutlery was being cleaned up with disinfecting wipes (no soap or water!). The gentleman there said another cook was supposed to be coming in and until then he prepped all the food. Why prep all the food if its supposed to be a cooking class? He then decided after chatting us up for a while that the "other guy" apparently wasn't showing up so he would just start the class but there was no cooking lessons in fact he prepped and started all the food with very minimal directions! Instead he went into his sales pitches about the pots and pans and how they worked. This whole time we had not eaten because we were under the influence that we would be cooking and there would be plenty of food to eat but there were only 2 chicken [redacted] and some veggies which he divvied up between 5 couples (10 people total!!!) while we were eating he went through the product packages and the freebies they came with and has us do a questionnaire about the quality and cost of other pots and pans. He said that with each of the 3 levels of purchases you got certain "free" items. We chose the largest package and chose to get the "free" knives (the only thing my now husband requested) we were also told that with the purchase we would get a free cruise and that a wedding registry would be set up for people to pay towards instead of actually buying gifts. We were convinced about the products and their lifetime warranty because the week prior I had to throw away a pan that got ruined. After registering everything and leaving we went out ate our dinner contemplated on our extremely high purchase and decided it was a good one. a few weeks later we married but without ever being registered for the guest payment options then a little while later we received our pots and pans. but where is out paperwork, our free two night hotel stay, our free cruise, or our free knife set? I have looked over all of the paperwork we did get and only found one number that led me to the lifetime company who only outsourced and gave me a second number to financing that gave me a third number that rang and went to voicemail. After leaving a few voicemails and no response I started internet searches and emailed several other emails that were said to be linked to naked kitchen and called 3 other phone numbers which were either disconnected or automated voices saying the phone number was not available at the time and to call back later.Desired Settlement: I would like for Naked Kitchen to send me my missing products (two nights hotel stay, free cruise, knife set) and a phone call with explanations for their unprofessional everything!

Review: I attended a bridal show in Greenville, NC on February 24, 2013 and the Naked Kitchen had a booth set up. They asked me to sign up to win a free cooking class. I received an email on February 26, 2013 that stated the following:"This email is to confirm your Couples Cooking Class with The Naked Kitchen for Friday March 1st, 2013 at 8:45pm. The class will be held at the Hilton Greenville. The address for the hotel is: 207 Greenville Boulevard Southwest Greenville, NC 27834 Next door to the Convention Center where the Bridal Show was. The class will be held in the "Section C Room". If you need further assistance, ask the front desk for "The Naked Kitchen". Due to the earlier class time, doors will not open until 8:45pm. You and your fiance both must attend to receive your free gift of either a $50 gift card to Restaurant.com or 2 Night Hotel Stay in a City of your choice! If you have any further questions, please call the Bridal Department at ###-###-####. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you soon! Naked Kitchen [email protected] ###-###-#### Bridal Department ###-###-#### Fax" Well, my fiance and I made the reservations and cancelled our prior plans to attend 1. thinking we were actually going to have a cooking class and 2. that we'd receive the free gift for our time. It ended up not being a cooking class at all but a cookware demonstration instead. The representative that did the demonstration told us we would receive the free 2 night stay at the hotel in any city we choose within 2 weeks in the mail after the class. Two months later, we still have not received what was promised. We are very upset that we were lied to and cancelled our prior plans for something that was never delivered as promised. I've tried calling and emailing the company with the number and email provided in the above copied email, and no one has returned my phone calls or emails. The email and the representative of the company at the "cooking class" were very misleading.Desired Settlement: My fiance and I would like the free 2 night stay at any hotel of our choice that we were promised.

After reading the complaint by [redacted], we feel there is a very

simple resolution to the problem. At the time of the cooking class, couples are

required to fill out a sign in sheet with their contact information at the top.

This sign in sheet is then faxed to our corporate office at the end of the

evening. It has been our standard procedure to mail out gifts to couples that

attend our cooking class every Friday afternoon. However, these sign in sheets

are faxed and unfortunately, the contact information in regards to mailing

address and phone numbers often come across as eligible. We do our best to

contact the customer, if this is the case. but in the end, if we are unable to

contact the couple, we simply mail it to the address that is our best guess.

After receiving this complaint, we immediately contacted [redacted] notifying her of what happened. Unfortunately, due to our recent move at

our corporate office, if this wasn't mailed to the proper address, our return

address was then incorrect. We have since then mailed out the gifts to Ms. [redacted],

including an additional [redacted].com giftcard

for the trouble. We hope this resolves the issue and that it is our policy to

get the gifts out to the couples who attend our cooking class. If we can be of

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

The business did call me and said that they would express ship the free hotel stay and the [redacted].com gift card. However, that was over a week ago, and I have still not seen what they promised to send - yet again! And to think that we were actually considering buying this cookware. We probably would not have even received that! Highly unprofessional and horrible customer service! I warn everyone that is even considering purchasing anything from this business to think real hard about whether its worth the hassle, and definitely do not waste your time attending one of their "cooking classes".

Response to complaint ID [redacted],

I want to apologize to you for all of the misleading information you were told. It is my understanding that multiple people have made promises to send out the free gift you were promised and yet you still have not received them. My name is [redacted] and I am the new department manager here at The Naked Kitchen. Unfortunately you are not the only couple that has had this issue but I can assure you I will have those gift sent out to you. Because of the high volume of gifts I have been sending out to compensate for all of the couples who also never received their gifts I had to order a new shipment and as soon as it comes in I will ship your gifts out immediately. I will follow up with a phone call the day the shipment is in to inform you that I am sending the items and to confirm your address is still up to date.

Again, I apologize for the professionalism you have experienced and I would like you to know that your happiness is important to me and the rest of the staff here at The Naked Kitchen.

Thank you,

Review: This company and it's services are a SCAM. We were told we won a free "couple's cooking class" from an entry at the bridal expo held in town in September. We went to this cooking class at the end of September and it was a cooking demo to sell Lifetime Regal ware cookware sets. We bought this cookware set and the following day we realized it was fraudulent because the paperwork did not have any identifying information for the company and no contact information to cancel when we were told we had 3 days to cancel. This paperwork also asked for personal information for payment such as bank account # and Debit card #. In addition it also requested for social security number. We then tried to contact the phone numbers that we were contacted from to register for the class and no person answered these numbers and when a message was left there was no call back. This company also goes by the name of Naked Kitchen Inc which in turn has a bad reputation. When calling the numbers and getting the answering machine they go by Smitten Kitchen Inc and Naked Kitchen Inc. We investigated with Regalware and they were told that they have not received our order and will not process it if they do receive it. They are said they have started a formal investigation on this distributor. The cook "[redacted]" told us he was a chef for a restaurant in Dallas called "[redacted] Pyles" and it turns out he isn't. After investigating he is the president of Naked Kitchen Inc which has lots of reviews of couples getting scammed. This distributor is located out in California/Nevada. There are also multiple phone numbers for this "company" and no one answers although when they were trying to set us up for the class, they did answer. They also told us that in attending the cooking demo my fianc and I would be receiving a free two night hotel stay in a hotel with various cities available. He said it would be mailed. At the demo they Do not give them any information. It's a scam, luckily we caught on early to try to rectify the situationDesired Settlement: We want for others to be aware of this company. They attend bridal expos and market themselves as a bridal registry for cookware. They state that you can order the cookware, get it, and then make monthly payments on and have your guests from your wedding make contributions to pay off your set. We are currently trying to make sure our information will stay as safe as possible and that we will not be forced to pay for these items after multiple attempts at cancelling the order.

Review: My Fiance and I attended a "cooking class" on July 26th 2013. We were told for just attending and playing games we would receive $100 worth of gift cards and a 2 night hotel stay. We were also told that we would receive a cruise and 0% interest for the first year on the cookware set we decided to purchase. We have not yet received anything they have promised. We have not received the gift cards, hotel stay, or cruise. We also noticed on our billing statement that we are being charged interest. We contacted the finance company [redacted] and were told that they knew nothing about the 0% interest for the first year. We have tried several times to contact the company at the number ###-###-####. They do not have anyone ever answering. You can pick a department and they always say that the lines are busy and to leave a message or if you hit 0 for further assistance it just rings and says that it will keep trying the extension. I waited for 45 min before hanging up. I have called several times and left several different messages with no one calling me back. I have called the company Regal Ware who manufactures the cookware and was told this is an issue that needs to be handled through the company that we bought the cookware with.Desired Settlement: I would like the gift cards and hotel stay that was promised for attending the cooking class and the 0% interest promised for the first year with reimbursement for what was already charged and the cruise promised with the purchase of the cookware set or I would like to return the cookware because I am not getting the gifts I was told I would receive, the customer service I was promised and I am paying more then what I was told I was going to pay due to the interest rate.

Review: I feel this company is engaging in false advertising and failing to live up to promises. After attending a bridal show in Boston, MA and entering various drawings we received a call saying we "won" a cooking class. They said it was just a cooking class, a "fun night out". Also we'd receive restaurant certificates and a 2-night hotel stay as long as we show up. So we signed up over the phone, but still felt suspicious so I called back the next day and specifically asked the girl to verify this isn't some kind of sales pitch. Her response was "No not at all it's just a fun night out." We went there and sat through a 90 minute presentation in a hotel conference room about their $3000 cookware sets. The girl made a piece of chicken in one of the pans to show that it doesn't stick much to the pan. That was it for the cooking and there was no class at all... it was bare chicken in a pan with no spice added on it. Then we were pressured to buy the stuff to the point we had to just turn our backs and walk out. The saleswoman was very aggressive. And of course we never received the promised gifts in the mail. We should have realized we would never receive them in the mail. What is the point of mailing them when it would be easier for them and more cost effective simply to give us the gifts at the end of the sales demo? I'd guess they never had any plans to mail out the gifts. A couple of follow up calls to this company in the following months resulted in promises to send out a new set of gifts in the mail, but of course those never came.Desired Settlement: An apology for lying to us, a promise to stop lying to other engaged couples, and sending us the promised certificates in the mail.

First, I would like to apologize on behalf of myself and the entire staff here at The Naked Kitchen. I realize that your experience thus far with our company has been less than desirable and I would like the opportunity to remedy the situation. My name is [redacted] and I am the new manager representing The Naked Kitchen. We are undergoing a lot of new changes now that I have started with the company and our number one priority is customer satisfaction. I want to assure you that your gifts will be sent out to you in a timely manner. Regrettably you are not the only couple that did not receive your promised gifts and as a result I have been sending a very large number out all at one time. I recently ordered a new shipment and as soon as they come in I will be sending yours out first. I know at this point it seems futile but I assure you, your gifts will come. If you have any questions please feel free to call me Monday through Thursday between 8 and 4 and Fridays from 8 to 12 pm.

Second, I would like to assure you that our approach to new customers is being handled with much more consideration and care. I am sorry your experience was so disappointing and I will be following up with a phone call to you as soon as our shipment comes in to inform you the day I send out your gifts.

Again, I apologize for every inconvenience we have caused and want you to know that your happiness is important to us and I will work diligently to correct these issues for you, our past customers, and our new customers.

Thank you,

Response:

I appreciate the business's response. They've acknowledged the issue and the new manager seems to be genuine about making sure it doesn't happen again to other people. The new manager has stated we'll be receiving a call and we'll be receiving the items in the mail. As long as the business follows through on everything they stated in the response I would consider this issue resolved.

Thanks,

###-###-####

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

Review: Ordered cookware from Naked Kitchen and wanted to cancel our order, looked on contract to find address to cancel order and there was not contact information what so ever. So I tried calling Naked Kitchen form business card and had go no answer, went to web site and the site was not available. Waited to get receipt to get information on a contact. Then it was already pass the 3 day cancellation time. On receipt the name of [redacted] and phone number of ###-###-#### cell and ###-###-#### and left several messages and have not received a phone call back to this day. We received cookware and returned the cookware with a letter of cancellation, because that was the only contact we had at that time to do so. Then Time investment finance contacted us for payment and said we did not follow procedure to cancel the transaction, now they are getting money from us and we do not have the cookware. We do not want the cookware or to pay for something we do not want. Time Investment can't get in contact with Naked Kitchen either.Desired Settlement: Money back for what we have already paid for.

Review: On July 14, 2013 I attended a bridal show in Tulsa, OK and won a cooking class with the company [redacted] and they told me by just attending the class I would recieve my choice of either a 2-night hotel stay in my city of choice or a $50 giftcard to restaurants.com. On July 16, 2013 I attended the "class". I was under the impression that it would be an actual cooking class but it wasn't, it was a cookware demonstration. We filled out a questionaire and won an additional gift, which would have been the $50 giftcard (since we choose the 2-night stay as our gift for attending). We were told to fill out our name and address and our gifts would be mailed to us within the next week. I decided to purchase the cookware because a cruise was promised with any package purchase. I wrote a personal check for $100 as a down payment for option #2 with a fixed interest rate of 1.5% on July 16, 2013 and it has not gone through my account yet as of August 12, 2013. I recieved the cookware as promised on July 30, 2013 from Regal Ware. I was contacted by a finance comany and I checked out the website she gave me and that all seems legit. But I had not recieved any of the gift or information about the cruise as of July 30, 2013 as promised. So on July 30, 2013 I called (866) 625-3390 The [redacted] and talked to a manger about my problem and she said that the reason I hadn't recieved any gifts yet was because they were waiting for them to come in from someone else and they had just recieved them that day and would be putting them in the mail that day or the next and I would recieve them within a week (August 6, 2013) and I still have not recieved anything as of today, August 12, 2013. She also told me that the reason I hadn't recieved any cruise info was because my down payment had not gone through yet and she would contact the representative that I purchased the cookware from. I have not opened the cookware yet because I was waiting on the cruise information which was the main reason for purchasing the cookware. I tried to contact [redacted] or the Naked [redacted] again today at (866)625-3390 and the number has been disconnected. I also called (858)488-8382 and it was disconnected too. Every review I have seen about this company says it is a scam. If I do not recieve any of the gifts or the cruise as I was told, then I will return the cookware.Desired Settlement: I would like to recieve my $50 giftcard to restaurants.com, a free 2-night stay in a city of my choice, and the cruise I was promised. I realize that there are still port fees and taxes but the actual cruise portion was promised as all-inclusive and free. I would also like a good & working number to contact this business. If I do not recieve any of these gifts as promised, I expect a teminated contract and no penalties for any transactions.
