time after (approx. 500 miles later) we installed a set of new snow tires for him. At that time WE noticed his new brake pads were prematurely wearing, we did not disassemble anything at that time to inspect why this was happening, we only noticed that both rear wheels were very hard to turn, in our many years of experience this is due to "sticky" calipers and happens sometimes after replacement due to the fact that the calipers are working at a new position that gets internally corroded due to our climate and road salt.That day Mr. [redacted] was in a time constraint which did not allow us to investigate further. I personally told him what I had found and told him, worst case, we would have to put new or re-manufactured calipers on to cure the issue, but we needed him to bring the car back in as soon as he could.We did not hear from Mr. [redacted] again until he came in and told us we had installed his brakes wrong and that was the reason his brakes were worn out again. He told me that he had the brakes re-installed elsewhere and wanted a full refund. I told him I could refund him completely for the parts only, because we were not given the opportunity to make this right if we in fact, had not installed them properly, BUT, I needed the old parts for my supplier to reimburse he/us.        At this point, I am willing to refund this in FULL, with labor, IF he will allow US,under his supervision, to inspect the brakes now, after "he" installed them to see what it is that we did wrong, granted there are at least 500 miles on the car since he replaced them.I thank-you for your time,[redacted]Nakoma Plaza Auto, LLC

Review: I took my car into to have the brakes replaced (brake pads and rotors). 500 miles after getting the new brakes, they had already been worn out. Nakoma claimed I needed to have additional parts replaced (new calipers). I redid the work myself and noticed that the reason the brakes wore out so quickly was because they replaced them incorrectly. I called to complain and they said they couldn't refund me for the work because he didn't inspect the work that had been done. I then emailed them a week ago with a detailed description, including images, of what they did incorrectly and how it should have been done. I have yet to get a respone from them.Desired Settlement: I wish to be refunded for the faulty work that was done on my car. Both parts and labor. I still have the worn parts which can be returned for a warranty claim.
