Nami's hair salon

I went to Nami's for many years when I lived nearby, thanks to a recommendation on the Nextdoor app. Every time I came home after a haircut, my husband always complimented me on my hair. Nami knows how to work with my naturally wavy hair, takes care to shave the back of my neck, and styles my hair in an attractive, professional way. Since moving out of the area, I have even returned twice to have her cut my hair again!

Review: Like April 5, 2013 I went to Namis hair salon to find out about having my hair straightened. We spoke about a all-natural keratin straightening treatment. She gave me a flyer about the treatment being used which said it would last three months and straighten my hair and remove all frizz. She checked my hair and told me that treatment would straightened my hair and eliminate frizz, and that the treatment would last three months. The treatment would cost 150.00. We scheduled an appointment for me to come and on April 12 for the treatment. When she was doing the treatment she said she did not realize how much hair I had and how much product it would use so it was going cost me $250.00. I don't really care how much it was going to cost because I really wanted straight hair with no frizz. She told me sometimes you have to come back for additional treatments at no charge to get your hair the way it should be. I paid her the $250 plus a $50 tip. When she finished the treatment she told me not to wash my hair for at least three days, I waited five days. After I wash my hair I noticed that that was still very wavey. I went by her salon on May 3rd so she can look at my hair. When she looked at my hair she agreed with me and told me to come back on May 6 so she could fix the back. I went back and he treated the back and I tipped her $40. I once again waited five days before washing my hair. I then went back on May 28 to show her my hair still wasn't right. She then told me that I would have to have a chemical treatment to straighten my hair. I had talked to two other salons since I had my hair straightened and they both felt that the treatment was incorrectly done. I can submit these names if you would like them. I am very dissatisfied with the results.Desired Settlement: I would like a refund of the $340 that I paid her for job incorrectly done.

I am rejecting this response because: She is not offering a resolution. She gave me the form the day I talked to her about the treatment, I did not pick it up and read it. She charged my neighbor 150.00. My hair was to the middle of my back not hip length. My 11 year old son trimmed 1/4 off the ends of my hair, he and I went in her salon when I ask her to fix it the first time together and told her or she would not have known. I am making a copy of her response so I can show people how dishonest she is.
