In early July I responded to an add on [redacted] on my local Buy,Sell,Trade and Barter site for yard servicesI had Oscar (M***) or C [redacted] not sure yet of Oscar & Sons Lawn Care come out and give me an estimate on replacing old sod with new and installing an irrigation system as well as installing some artificial grassHe showed up gave an estimate I let him know I needed to speak with my husband first and then get in contact with him for the jobWe had been waiting on our HOA approval so it took a little over a month to be sure we could hire him to do the jobDuring this time we had been in contact via text off and on letting him know what was going onOnce approved he came back out and I wrote him a personal check for $for half of the job and ordering materialsHe had me write it to Oscar C [redacted] He was supposed to start the following morning and never showed he continued to communicate via text for the rest of that day stating he was waiting on a sod cutter then
