Hunter, it was good talking to you this morning. As statedI've talked to (4) sources regarding the issues you have had and as you stated in your claim with the Revdex.comAll of the people I talked with are in agreement that a mis-wired throttle by wire harness is not capable of
causing all of the issues you have documentedHowever, I mis-wired throttle by wire harness would indeed cause "limp ***".There are definitely many areas of concern that I would have if I were youFirst, if a part is mis-wired, especially the throttle by wire/twist grip, the bike would be in LIMP *** immediately and would stay in limp until the wires were pinned out correctlyIf you think about It logically, you can't take a part, mis-wire it and expect to even work let alone work intermittently.Secondly, ALL of the issues you have had are common with higher mileage motorcycles, especially ***ls, and if you look at the links on the web, many of the bikes were indeed Road Kingswas the first year for ABS and throttle by wire.Third, you had a Fuel Pack that you took off because the bike was not running wellThe Fuel Pack, like most EFI Tuners connect in between the EFI main electrical connector on the wiring harness and the ECMTaking it off and on multiple times can do harm to the terminals causing intermittent connections or faultsAlso, if the Fuel Pack was not set up properly/programmed from the beginning, the engine could run lean, causing excessive heat, thus causing premature sensor failureWhen an sensor fails, the bike will go into closed loop/or limp ***.After looking at all of the issues you had, not to mention the issues happened a week to two after the (apparent mis-wired NAMZ NTBW-4201) throttle by wire harness was installed, tells me and the other professionals I consulted with on your behalf, that our harness would not work properly at all, let alone for a couple of weeksThat is virtually impossible considering how we build and test EVERY wiring harness we manufactureIf a harness was mis-wired, our harness test machine would see the issue and fail itThe machine then tells the operator what location had the failure for an easy correctionWith that being said, every issue you described points to the ECM, which controls all of the components you described and a faulty connection on the ECM would cause intermittent failuresA mis-wired harness in almost EVERY installation would cause an immediate and constant fault/short, it would not be intermittent.I know this is not what you wanted to hear but without seeing your bike or knowing firsthand what was "apparently mis-wired" I will side with my professional outside sources and most importantly, our employees in this matterI am very confident in our products and the professional methods we use in manufacturing and testing themIf there was any possible link between our harness and the issues you described, I would have NO issue writing you a check for your losesBut there is nothing here that I can seeI hope this helps you going forward and you find the real problem with your motorcycle as I feel that the issue with your bike has NOT yet been resolved.Below are some reports showing the issue we discussed.https://www.***.com/forum/***-***is/***-***-***-***.htmlhttp://www.***...
