To Whom it May Concern, I am in receipt of a complaint by [redacted] over a billing disputeThe st part of the complaint was over a misunderstanding of the insurance coverageI am forwarding a copy of the Insurance portal with the patient's insID and DOB blacked out for her privacy One can see how I as a provider interpreted that she had met her deductible, and we had a conversation about this before [redacted] 's treatmentI did caution her that If my Interpretation of this Insurance portal was wrong, I would bill her for the balanceShe had signed an agreement to this which I also encloseI did phone her when she did not show up for her next scheduled appointment on 9/21/as a courtesy, and she explained her husband had gotten laid off; of this experience I could relate as my husband is out of work, as wellI did tell her I would forgive the $No-show fee, and we rescheduled an appointment for 9/28/ [redacted] again did not show up for this scheduled appointment and she did not call to cancelApparently she had sent an email on 9/23/cancelling the appointment which I discovered only yesterday was in my spam folderI believe all of this could have been resolved by a phone call, but that is now water under the bridgeI do count on my scheduled patients to attend or call if they wish to cancelTherefore, I apologize for not seeing this email, and for causing further angst in [redacted] 's familyI would appreciate the payment of $ and am waiving all late feesThank You for your help and understandingNancy [redacted] , L.Ac
