Review: The man and woman who ran the store on the day I visited were both unfriendly, unhelpful and rude. I unfortunately do not have their names, but for descriptive purposes only they were [redacted] and appeared to be the store [redacted]. I stopped into this tiny shop because it was conveniently located near my home and I desperately needed a watch battery changed. I also was having the same watch cleaned. Much to my horror when I picked up my watch, the clasp was missing and the workers refused to take responsibility for the disrepair. I rendered my watch to these people in one piece and it was returned to me broken and they had the audacity to charge me for the horrible service. What a terrible way to run a business! I am in disbelief that they are able to rip off customers like this. Beware to all shoppers about this place...I recommend staying far away from this dishonest business.Desired Settlement: I was charged $16.33 for the service.It is true that the shop replaced the battery and cleaned the watch, but they should be held 100%accountable in replacing what was broken while in their possession.Instead, they aggressively denied the occurrence and refused to take responsibility. Ordinarily, I would request the clasp to be repaired out of fairness but I have lost all faith in the competency of this shop and it's workers.I strongly prefer to take my watch elsewhere and request reimbursement.

After cleaning the watch and replacing its batteries, we noticed that the band clasp was missing. When the customer came to pick up her watch, I informed her that it was missing. The customer blamed me for breaking the clasp so she refused to pay for the services we provided (cleaning and replacing the battery). I said that we would discount the price, she suggested $15 and I agreed. But, she still demanded that I take the responsibility of the missing band clasp. I told her that I didn't lose the clasp, but she could leave the watch at my store for us to fix. She angrily replied that she wouldn't leave the watch with us since she didn't trust our workers. After she left, I felt bad about the incident. After thinking about what could have happened to the clasp, we started looking for the clasp on the floor. If the clasp pin is weak or not properly fit, the clasp can become undone. Fortunately, we were able to find it in the corn er of the floor so I called the customer right away at 7:00 PM (on the same day). I left her a message that we found the piece and to bring the watch back to our store for us to fix. I also apologized for the uncomfortable experience caused by us. We want to resolve this matter but she has yet to respond.
