February 13, Complaint ID: [redacted] This patient was referred to my office by her general dentist for a comprehensive periodontal examination due to the severe nature of her periodontal disease The general dentist indeed emailed me radiographs dated March 3, Due to her Advanced Periodontal Disease / Rapidly Progressive Periodontitis it was necessary to update some of the radiographs in order to accurately determine the prognosis of her dentitionAfter a thorough Medical and Dental history, a comprehensive periodontal examination and oral cancer screening was completed This initial clinical examination revealed Advanced Periodontitis (Rapidly Progressive Periodontitis) w/ a strong family history of periodontal disease, occlusal trauma, poor plaque control, significant tooth mobility and a past history of unsuccessful periodontal treatment The radiographs taken were necessary to make an accurate diagnosis, prognosis and an appropriate treatment plan The photographs taken were also necessary for diagnostic purposes, patient education and follow up of the patient progressIt is very shameful that this patient instead of communicating the issue directly to us decides to file a complaint to the Revdex.com I feel the only miscommunication was the fact that we are not a provider for her insurance The customer statements on her complaint are hurtful and without any foundation of truthIt is basically an insult to me and to my profession As a Board Certified Periodontist, I always give my all to each one of my patients and take pride in that I am not in practice for the money; I am passionate for what I can do to help my patients I will consider her account as a zero balance Respectfully,

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. I believe my HIPPA rights have been violated but since the business is not pursuing payment I will drop the issue. Her response was very emotional and I don't care about how she feels. Her front office had the responsibility and opportunity to inform me that she was not a covered provider. I tried contacting the case manager several times by phone and was told she was "not available".

February 13, 2017 Complaint ID:  [redacted] This patient was referred to my office by her general dentist for a comprehensive periodontal examination due to the severe nature of her periodontal disease.  The general dentist indeed emailed me radiographs dated March 3, 2016. Due to her...

Advanced Periodontal Disease / Rapidly Progressive Periodontitis it was necessary to update some of the radiographs in order to accurately determine the prognosis of her dentition. After a thorough Medical and Dental history, a comprehensive periodontal examination and oral cancer screening was completed.  This initial clinical examination revealed Advanced Periodontitis (Rapidly Progressive Periodontitis) w/ a strong family history of periodontal disease, occlusal trauma, poor plaque control, significant tooth mobility and a past history of unsuccessful periodontal treatment.  The radiographs taken were necessary to make an accurate diagnosis, prognosis and an appropriate treatment plan.  The photographs taken were also necessary for diagnostic purposes, patient education and follow up of the patient progress. It is very shameful that this patient instead of communicating the issue directly to us decides to file a complaint to the Revdex.com.  I feel the only miscommunication was the fact that we are not a provider for her insurance.  The customer statements on her complaint are hurtful and without any foundation of truth. It is basically an insult to me and to my profession.  As a Board Certified Periodontist, I always give my all to each one of my patients and take pride in that.  I am not in practice for the money; I am passionate for what I can do to help my patients.  I will consider her account as a zero balance.  Respectfully,
