Nancy Rosenbaum

Review: I engaged Nancy R[redacted] to edit a doctoral proposal (dissertation) which I had written. In the past, she had edited a dissertation for me with satisfactory results. I emailed the doctoral proposal to her so she could give me a quote for the editing work. Ms. R[redacted] sent me a Service Agreement, which set a price at $2,831.88 and set the completion date of September 4, 2015. I signed the Service Agreement and mailed it to Ms. R[redacted] along with a cashiers check for $2,831.88. Ms. R[redacted] deposited the check.

Ms. R[redacted] has not completed the editing work. I sent her an email after September 24, 2015, asking about the editing work and I did not receive a reply. I have not heard from Ms. R[redacted]. My attorney wrote Ms. R[redacted] a letter demanding the full return of the deposit of $2,831.88. The letter was sent by priority mail and according to USPS tracking was delivered on October 2, 2015. Ms. R[redacted] has not replied to my attorney's letter.Desired Settlement: I want a full refund of the payment of $2,831.88 plus additional damages and costs of $750.00.
