We hired Nancy Stickland, of All Design and Build, to do remodeling in our home I hired here based on previous work done at a relative's home, which she had done work there for the last five yearI have worked for years with [redacted] , without any issue We later found out that Nancy (Nanci) had just changed her business name on 8/12/2016, shortly after we hired herI did not change my company name, but opened up a second company focusing on a different industry within construction She verbally gave us her word that upon completion of the work, we would receive a book that contained before and after pictures, receipts, guarantees, and other paperwork pertaining to the jobThis will be avalible once all warranty work is complete We never received these items She also gave us verbal guarantees on all her work and said she would come back to redo tiling, which is chipping and moving, a bathroom door that needed to be replaced, which we already paid for, a front screen door window that was to be replaced because it broke while she was having it paintedTile: We have said in the past we will replace the flooring as part of a good faith offer after reinstallation twice from client walking on them immediately after installationThe movement is due to an installation issue thus why we are covering installation The tile will need to be reselected, in which no reselections have been sent to me for order and schedule installation In March, we noticed our hardwood floors starting to warp in front of the newly installed French DoorsThis is a secondary issue due to the factory seal on the installed door, failingWe would like to work out a resolution with the manufacturer of the door and coordination with the client to ensure a fair outcome In May, during a particular windy storm, we could actually see water seeping in around the frame, and around the glass border portion of the French DoorsI have scheduled a representative to assess the door/damage on August 2ndThe client denied the meeting to resolve this issueWe are waiting for the next meeting time from the manufacturer We put towels down as soon as we noticedWe notified Nancy, and she informed that she would have a "manufacturer rep" come out to look at the door to inform her as to how to fix the problemScheduled Aug 2nd, canceled by client She felt certain that it was a manufacturer defectNo one ever came out to inspect the issue, or fix the problemWe contacted the manufacturer ourselves and was informed that we could not proceed without a purchaser's receiptIn June, we had the door independently inspected by a licensed installer and we were informed that the door was the wrong size and not installed correctlyWe would like to see a copy of said reportOur installer has installed doors and
