The client was contacted because a document was needed to complete their tax return. Initially, the husband [redacted] was spoken to and he said he would check with his wife because she had assembled the materials needed to do the tax return.
Subsequently, [redacted]...
called and said she had included the document in question with the original paperwork provided. She was told that the document was not there and all of the materials provided had been gone through in search of it. She was
then asked if she could provide a copy of the document by going on line to their account and printing it off. At this point [redacted] said they were very busy business owners and it would take them a week to provide the document. This office suggested that she
could email or fax it if that would help. [redacted] then proceeded to state that she did not like the attitude of the person she was talking to and this would be the last year they would be using our services. The preparer, she was talking to, [redacted], told her at this point
it would be best if she pick up her information and get this year's return done elsewhere at which point [redacted] insisted that this office had to do their tax return. Several times during the conversation the preparer tried to tell [redacted] that we did not have the information
she insisted we had and were in fact going thru her paperwork again in search of it. Only after [redacted] became agitated was the first phone conversation ended since it didn't seem to be getting anywhere. This was a simple request for necessary information that was
blown totally out of proportion by the client.
[redacted] called and requested to speak to the business owner.
