Dear Conciliation and Engagement Specialist,Thank you for the information regarding this customerWe regret his concerns but appreciate the opportunity to help.Our records show this customer to be the 2nd owner of a pool we completed in 5/The pool was originally a TURBO CLEAN pool with the large Swimquik headsIn 2/1995, we show our representative gave the first owner a bid to install turbo clean adapters and convert to our new style A&A Quik Clean headsWe never heard back from the first owner and the home sold a year laterWe show this customer became the 2nd owner of the pool in 5/1996.Shasta sold our retail stores in but kept records of these purchases for warranty purposesThere would not be a lifetime warranty unless a full set of heads were purchased at one timeWe do not have a record of this customer purchasing the set of heads from us, or from our retail stores.The only communication we have from this customer is a call on 4/19/where he called us and said he had a lifetime warranty on the headsWe have no records of him having this warranty or even any service calls in to Shasta over his years of ownershipAt that time our Customer Care Mgr stated this customer would need to provide a receipt or warranty card for us to cover the heads.The customer called again yesterday, 10/18/2016, and our manager handled the call personallyShe offered to replace all the heads as a onetime goodwill gesture but the customer declined and seems to have filed this Revdex.com claim.We have a situation where an owner purchased a home with a year old Shasta pool years agoAt some point in time the heads have been updated through someone other than Shasta as we have no record of the workWe offered, even though our records indicate he is not the original owner, to replace his heads one time as a gesture of customer goodwill.We hope this information proves helpful and the Revdex.com will find the matter resolved.Respectfully,Joanie D**

Dear Dispute Resolution Consultant,Thank you for the information regarding this customer's concern about their recent pool repairOur Customer Care Manager has already contacted the customer to investigate the situation and find resolutionThis customer happens to be the second owner of a pool built in and though we did do a remodel as noted, these issues are unrelated and not uncommon for an older pool.Shasta Pools has determined the issue at hand was not caused by Shasta's technicianThe customer cancelled the service request and has acknowledged the fact that another contractor is addressing the problemThe valve was addressed correctly at the last visit and the pump is related to another contractorSince the findings are a repair unrelated to the previous visit and not a problem caused by Shasta, it's our hope the Revdex.com will recognize this to not be the fault of Shasta Pools and remove this complaint from our record.Respectfully, [redacted] ***

Dear Dispute Resolution Specialist,Thank you for the information regarding this customer's concernsIt is certainly unfortunate that we have encountered the series of events mentioned on this project and we first offer our most sincere apologies for their negative experience and inconveniences The Revdex.com knows how important these issues are to us.Shasta Pools would like the Revdex.com to know we have made several efforts to correct and/or improve each situation as it occurred on this projectWe have absorbed many additional costs, as well as extended a significant reduction in contract price, in attempt to bring this customer satisfactionAt the beginning the excavators came upon excessive debris in the pool area that required additional cost to remove which Shasta paidThe BBQ was contracted for flagstone but the customer was unaware this material had such variations and frustrated with the inability to match perfectly so we offered to upgrade to the travertine at no cost to them and they agreedThe interior finish originally installed was the selection the customer signed for and per contractHowever, due to their intense dissatisfaction and in the spirit of goodwill, we worked with them to change the interior finish at a very reduced price and absorbing the remaining costsThe second installation was a color also selected and signed for by the customerOther than a minor blemish in the interior finish, the manufacturer's technician found the application to be extremely well done and they worked on the imperfection this weekThe wall has been re-painted by a professional painter as they requested also at Shasta's expense.In light of the above information, we hope the Revdex.com will recognize the efforts of Shasta Pools and understand why the request for a $5,refund is respectfully deniedWe hope this information proves helpful.Respectfully, [redacted] ***

Dear Dispute Resolution Specialist, Thank you for the information regarding our customer's concerns Our sales manager has attempted to contact the customer by email and phone with no success. Shasta Pools would like the Revdex.com to know that we have, in fact, been in contact with this
customer over the time frame mentionedSome specific notes would be that Shasta did a pool design with the customer and then did a layout of the pool on 5/The customer contacted us with questions and changes and then signed a revised plan on 5/Shasta returned to re-layout the pool on 5/On 6/our manager spoke with the customer explaining the issues with the pool placed in a drainage areaHe said he would contact his original engineer to see if he could help with the drainage plans.The issue that is keeping Shasta Pools from moving forward is that the customer wants to build the pool in a washThe city needs to approve the new drainage plans for a fence permit, which must be issued before the pool permit, and has not yet done soShasta has been working with the customer to get this accomplishedOur salesman has offered an alternative pool location which would not need drainage plan approval but the customers have refused to consider that location.Shasta is in the process of returning the deposit as requested but would like the Revdex.com to recognize the situation as not one of fault, lack of performance, or in our controlShasta has done due diligence and request the complaint be removed from our record. Its October 26th and we still aren't finished Shasta, due to their poor workmanship, has to now rip out the surface of the pool and it (Due to a foot print left in the surface by their worker.) I told them at the time of the work this was an issue-- they told me that "it would go away" and I should fill the pool Thus now causing even more delay and more work as it could have been fixed easily at the time-- now they have drain the pool for the 3rd time and take a week to remove and replace the surface Last time, they made a mess, splattered on the walls etc Now, we have landscaping which we don't want them to damage Once again, every time they have to fix something they make more problems Now I will have have to, once again, take even MORE TIME off from work to make sure that they are not making a disaster when they do the work and to monitor their sub contractors (which they said they didn't use) to make sure the workmanship is done correctly now, on the third time they are doing the surface This project was supposed to take months its been over monthsWe didn't get to even use the pool this summerAt every single turn, they have caused problems that I have had to point out-- then they act like they are doing me a favor by fixing it In the end, we didn't get what we wanted because they couldn't get it right the first or even the second time We are demanding a refund of $5,due to the fact that we are now having to replace the interior surface for a third time because they refused to fix the problem when I pointed it out, the amount of mess and disaster this causes, the unreal amount of time off of work dealing with this, the fact that our walls are still not correctly repainted and will probably have to be again when they splatter them during the resurface, the grill isn't what we contracted for (I dont care if its "an upgrade" I never asked for that, I wanted them to get it right and they couldn't so they changed it.), the stress this has caused my wife and I constantly having to have workers mess up our yard over and over again, being lied to by their sales people, and finally that we are months over schedule Additionally, we were sent emails from "The CEO ** ***." When I spoke with Mr***, he had no recollection of reading or sending any emails to me Its clear his son, *** the "manager" replied and pretended to be his father **Finally, after waiting almost a month to get resolution on the foot print, a "construction manager" was sent to our house, the guy had zero information and no clue about the history They have wasted so much of my time, and as a business owner myself, time is money

Dear Conciliation and Engagement Specialist,Thank you for the informationWe are very sorry to hear this customer is disappointed with the Shasta Glass interior finish we installed in Unfortunately, this product does not have an unlimited warranty, there are conditions of maintenance
requiredDue to the months of time this pool has been left empty, as well as improperly balanced water chemistry, any warranty has long been voidedAs a goodwill gesture we have offered a conditional one thousand dollar credit toward the cost of a new interior finish.We hope this information proves helpful and we stand ready to assist as best we can.Respectfully,Joanie D**

The only thing that is going to make me happy is for them to honor their Lifetime Warranty and to fix the pool OR give me all of the original money spent to install the liner to begin with See attached detailed reply *** ***

The edges of the pool should have been blue an the interior finish was what was on my contract but that isn't what I gotAs *** said on the phone is that what I described to her is what I should have gotten but it isn't*** called me times because she wanted to set up a meeting with her people from Shasta and meI called her back as soon as I was done with the meeting I was having with one of their employees, *** wrote down the things that was done wrong, not done or just plain sloppy*** also said that some of the hold ups were the different things I had in the poolCome on now, you are a pool company and you have been doing this for over yearsYou telling me that what I asked for in my pool you never put those items in before? Give me a breakYou guys just didn't care when my pool got done because I was one of those people who didn't screamed when something didn't get done for daysYou can't tell me that this pool should have taken you over months to buildI asked *** a couple of times, why can't they do things at the same timeHe didn't have an answer for meThey had all the money way before they even asked for it so I did my partThe only problem with that was, I couldn't hold any money back until they were all finishThis has just been a nightmare and a thorn in my sideI go with a company who has been in business for over years and have problems like thisNo way no how that shouldn't even happened
