On 3/16 I came in to get an overall car maintenance check. I ended up paying $259 for oil change/filter, tire rotation, etc. I purposely removed a tire cap just to make sure the mechanic rotated my tires. When the services was completed, I checked the back passenger's tire and sure enough the missing cap tire was still in the same place. My tires were never rotated. I informed the service associate and he called the mechanic (Jamal) to the service desk. The service associate asked Jamal if he had rotated my tires and he was quiet for a few seconds. I told Jamal I removed the back passenger tire cap and know that my tires were never rotated. Jamal replied, "I did not rotate your tires, because they did not need rotated." The service associate informed Jamal that was not his call to make that decision. I asked Jamal was he going to reimburse me funds since that service was not performed and he was quiet. The service associate apologized and instructed Jamal to rotate my tires. Jamal never apologized. I received a call from the GM and basically nothing was further done. I am sure this was not the first time Jamal and/or other mechanics decided to skip a paid service! I will not be back for future car services or to purchase a vehicle.

Our technician made a mistake and was very sorry for that. He made a call that was not his to make and it was the wrong call. We do not under any circumstances make a habit of charging people for services not performed. It was a mistake by the technician and has been addressed. I reached out to Ms W to try and regain her trust but was unsuccessful. I'm hoping we will get another chance in the future.

The GM could have done a better job with gaining my trust and future business. It was a very weak effort on his part. He even had the nerve to state that his mechanic said the treading on my tires were pretty much the same, reason why my tires were not rotated. Also, that I would need new tires. Really?!?! The service guy even had sense enough to apologize for someone else’s bad decision and offer a free car detail. I am so glad I did not decide to pay for a more expensive maintenance plan, which they strongly pushed. This dealership is all about making money vs. focusing on providing quality customer service.

I had taken my '01 Volvo S60 to get serviced. Along with a list of repairs their technician said the car needed, the front struts needed to be replaced. I asked them to check if the car also needed a tune-up and to check a rattling noise I heard coming from the back end of the car. When they called to let me know what needed to be done, they mentioned that the struts that were on there were after-factory parts and would replace them after I agreed to that repair. Almost 3 weeks later, I had a total bill for all the repairs totaled over $4300.
I take the car home and I STILL heard a rattling noise and the wheel alignment that was done on it pulled hard to the left. I took it back to the service department and and, after a week of having my car, informed me that there was nothing wrong with it. They mentioned that my back roters were warped and back breaks would need to be replaced. This visit I was not charged and they did redo the wheel alignment.
I took my car to my neighborhood CarX since they would be cheaper and are familiar with our family. The technician who always works on our other vehicles and whom my family trusts informed me that the screws and brackets holding the new struts in the front were not replaced and looked like they would need to be done soon. They also informed me that the breaks and roters were fine and did not need to be replaced. Also, they informed me that they found the cause to the noise from my initial complaint but could not do the work for it since there was a tool specific to the volvo that the dealership would have. They also informed me that spark plugs needed to be replaced which they said meant no tune-up was done.
Today, May 31, 2018, I took my vehicle to the dealership from which it was originally purchased (Orland Park, IL) which, after the experience with their staff today, is where I should have went in the first place. They confirm what our mechanic said and had to redo front struts and old brackets that were left on. My total= $1500

I have pulled the repair order and spoken with the service advisor and the technician. The front end parts including torque rods and shocks and springs were replaced with all of the necessary fittings, spring mounts, nuts washers and bolts. I trust my employees and don't believe they would not repair this properly and leave old brackets on. As far as the brakes, my technician quoted them as being out of Volvo recommended specs. I'm sorry we were not able to satisfy this client.

My wife purchased a vehicle from Napleton Auto Group .After purchase we were told in a few weeks we could go and plate the vehicle. When we went to B.M.V. to plate it we were told Napleton did not send the paperwork to the State to finish register the vehicle. When we called them they told us the we would be called when the title was in which they did not have. Now we purchased the vehicle on 08/08/2017,the paper plate expired on 09/22/2017.Not only can I not make the vehicle legal to drive therefore, I can not drive it until they contact me. I have tried to contact the general manager who spoke to my wife once and when I tried to call back I got no response or call back.
Furthermore I can not get another temporary plate, which this is no fault of ours. We were told it is illegal for us to receive one even though this is the fault of the dealer for failing to complete the paperwork on time.

We had the paperwork finalized with the state on September 26th so they where able to go to the BMV on that date. We apologized for the delay.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
As we were informed the paperwork was not available at the BMV until 9/28/17.Prior to this date because of the delay I was unable to drive the vehicle or get another temporary plate from the BMV. The only response I got on the issue from the business was drive the vehicle and if I get stopped by law enforcement, explain the situation and hopefully they would not give me a ticket.The situation is resolved but I will not purchase another vechile from this company because of unprofessionalism to a consumer
