N.A.R. Group, Inc Reviews (1)
I was contacted this morning by this company informing me that they were partnering with the DC Court Clerk’s office and were planning to file a judgment against me this coming Monday (November 12, 2012) a Federal holiday none the less. The contact information she had was outdated and many portions were incorrect. While I am not denying the debt I did request a written verification of the debt so that I can be sure it is legit so that I can address it. I was told that I could be emailed one but that a written request would not be sent. I then went on to ask for the company's information and was given an abbreviated name and refused the address. The agent would not properly identify herself, instead identifying herself as only [redacted]. She then became belligerent and irate with me for requesting any information and accused me of falsely denying the debt and informing me that I would be sued. I then asked to speak to a supervisor. [redacted] again became angry and questioned why I would need to speak to her supervisor. After the Supervisor finally answered the phone he provided me with the abbreviated company name and a P.O. Box in Clearwater, FL (NAR Group, P.O. Box 381, Clearwater, FL 37526). He then informed me that there was no need to request debt verification because it would not be honored and that he would move forward with litigation. Again, I am not denying the debt, only stating that I have no recollection of it and would like verification. Especially because the company was unwilling to provide me with any information over the phone.
