Dear Revdex.com: Thank you for forwarding the complaint of Mrs [redacted] , this shall serve as our official responseIn Mrs [redacted] ’s complaint, she alleges that she does not have a contract with our office, she did not receive services from our office, and we have reported an account with the credit bureausNext Mrs [redacted] alleges to have requested verification of the debt, but our office did not respond with adequate documentsLastly, Mrs [redacted] alleges that our office is not a licensed collection agency in the state of FloridaMrs [redacted] claims that she is not obligated to pay, because we do not have an agreement nor have we provided adequate proofMrs [redacted] is requesting that we remove the negative report, cease communication, and remove her personal information We have conducted a thorough investigation into this matterWe have determined that our office has not violated any state or federal lawsWe would like to provide additional information that can help shed light on our interactions regarding this matter Mrs [redacted] has an account assigned to our office, because she failed to pay the original creditor, our client, in a timely fashionThe original creditor that provided services to Mrs [redacted] is Crest Financial Services LLCOur office did receive a dispute from Mrs [redacted] on September 15th , Our office investigated Mrs [redacted] ’s dispute and responded with the results of our investigation and account details on September 21st, Since obtaining this complaint, our office has obtained a more detailed ledger and also an agreement signed by Mrs***We have attached those documents to this responseOur office would like to confirm that we are able to collect this debtWe are a completely legitimate collection agency and our address is West South Suite 410, West Valley City, UT We will respect Mrs [redacted] ’s request for a cease communication and we have added her number to our do not call listWe respectfully request that Mrs [redacted] fulfill her responsibility to pay this accountAs an act of kindness, we have deleted the account from Mrs [redacted] ’s credit reportWe now consider this complaint to be a closed issueSincerely, The Complaint Response Team at North American Recovery

Dear CFPB and Revdex.com: Thank you for forwarding the complaints regarding Mrs [redacted] which were both filed on June 12, This shall serve as our official responseIn Mrs***’s complaint, she alleges to have mailed validation requests to our office that included a cease and desist request Mrs [redacted] then alleges we ignored her requests, ignored her CFPB complaint, and we are in violation of multiple laws including The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)We have conducted a thorough investigation into this matterWe have determined that our office has not violated any state or federal lawsWe would like to provide additional information that can help shed light on our interactions regarding this matterMrs [redacted] has filed three online disputes regarding her account in our officeThe original creditor is Crest Financial Services and the debt is for a furniture leaseThe disputes were responded to the credit bureaus in a timely and accurate fashion on May 19th, 2017, June 9th, 2017, and June 13th, Our office also received a written dispute from Mrs [redacted] on June 2nd, In Mrs***’s letter, she alleged that we have reported an account to her credit report and that we are unable to validate her debtMrs [redacted] then requested to have the account removed from her credit, and attached a letter written by someone else in that discussed collection lawsMrs***’s letter did not request a cease communication; it actually requested a response from our officeUnder The Fair Credit Reporting act Section 615(b)(2)(ii),our office is required to investigate and then respond within days to a written dispute or request received by our officeSince Mrs***’s letter was received on June 2nd, our office actually has until July 2nd, to respondWe have concluded Mrs***’s dispute to be unfounded and the allegation that we will not validate her debt is falseWe have attached validation to this response and will also mail it to Mrs***Our office is now aware Mrs [redacted] would like a cease communication, we will respect that request, and our response will be for the limited purpose of validating her debt and informing her of the results of our investigationOur office would like to point out that we did not ignore Mrs***’s requests and we did not ignore her CFPB ComplaintWe have responded in a timely fashion and we are more than willing to work on a resolution As a gesture of good faith, we have removed the account from Mrs***’s credit report and would like to offer Mrs [redacted] a settlement offer of 75%, $1,We now consider this to be a closed issueSincerely, The Complaint Response Team at North American Recovery

Dispute Counselor RevDex.com of Utah South Redwood Road # Salt Lake City, Utah Re: Complaint of Leo M [redacted] Thank you for forwarding the complaint of Leo M***I have conducted a thorough investigation of this complaint, which, among other things, included listening to every phone call in reference to this matter and reviewing our account activity notesI have concluded we have done nothing wrong and North American Recovery denies all allegations of misconduct found in this complaint In his complaint, MrM [redacted] states that we informed him if the account wasn’t paid it would go to our attorney’s office, which was true Our representative also informed him of fees that could accrue and that there was the possibility of getting garnished if it goes unpaidMrM [redacted] stated that he could not pay anything because of other debt obligations that he hadOur representative then informed him that his account would be sent to our attorneys because he did not attempt to pay itHe then said, “OkaySounds good.” and the call was ended Later that day, MrM [redacted] called back in with his girlfriend Rachael W***After receiving permission to speak with her, they asked if there were any settlement offers or payment optionsOur representative informed them that the account had already been set up to go to our attorney’s office per the previous conversation with MrM***At that point, only payment-in-full would have prevented the account from moving forward to our attorney’s office In his complaint, he also states they never received any notification of the debt priorWe did send MrM [redacted] a letter on May 1st, notifying him of the debtThere notice was not returned to our officeHe states our representative stated that the notice sent on that day was returned We never stated thatMrM [redacted] verified the address we had was correct and that he had, in fact, not moved MrM [redacted] also states that he did not receive any phone calls regarding his billWe attempted to call MrM [redacted] on three separate occasions prior to sending the account to our attorney’s office the first timeAfter we received the unserved summons from our first attempt at a lawsuit, we called again and were able to communicate with him In conclusion, we stand by the fact that we have done nothing wrong and have followed all laws and company proceduresHowever, we are more than happy to set up an agreeable payment arrangement with MrM*** He can contact our office at [redacted] and speak to Justin S***, our Vice President of Collections Thank you for your help on this matterPlease let me know if you have any further questions or if you are in need of anything else Sincerely, Bryce P [redacted] Vice President, Operations & Compliance
