Nasco customer service staff have reviewed notes regarding the extensive telephonic conversations we have had with the complainant. In these discussions, we have noted to the complainant that there are no records with the parcel delivery service that document her rejection
of product, only delivery of the order. Based on the proof of delivery from the parcel service, we have concluded that we have properly fulfilled the order as submitted. Our discussions with the complainant have produced no resolutionOur understanding is the complainant was seeking proof of return from the parcel service. If such documentation can be provided, we can consider the complaint further. Thank you for contacting Nasco regarding the delivery complaint, ID [redacted]. Nasco takes the customer experience very seriously and works diligently to resolve each complaint. In this particular situation, the order was processed and delivered to the address indicated by the customer;...

therefore fulfilling Nasco’s and our third party carrier’s requirement. Unfortunately, the product was stolen. Although we are sympathetic to this situation, Nasco bares no liability for the theft of this product once it had been delivered. In good faith, Nasco did offer this customer a discount to replace the order, we are waiting to hear back from her. If you would like to discuss further or need any additional information please contact me directly; my contact information is below. Regards, [redacted]

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.It is industry standard among all other major shipping companies to provide shipping insurance which would cover events like this where a package is stolen from a secured delivery area before it can be retrieved by the purchaser. Nasco has chosen to use a shipper that they claim does not offer this service. The shipper also refuses to address claims brought by anyone other than the shipper. Nasco refused to contact the shipper on my behalf. The tracking number that Nasco provided me was incorrect so I couldn't track my package and know if it was delivered. They have set up a situation in which I had no way to know if my package was delivered and then no way to be compensated for my loss. I'm beginning to think this may actually be a scam.Their 'offer' of a new dehorner at $200 and free shipping is insulting. They have already told me they don't care enough about clients to protect their investments with a legitimate shipping company that offers appropriate insurance. They already demonstrated they're unable to provide accurate information about tracking. Why would I waste another $200 of my hard earned money when I have no idea if they package will actually get to me?I will need a refund to consider this situation satisfactorily resolved.

Review: I bought 2 sets of 5 CPR Prompt Manikins in April of 2013 from Owl Ranch Supplies through [redacted].. Within 2 months (with no more than one or two uses each), several of the manikins began to fall apart - the plastic which holds the head is coming detached from the foam body. These manikins came with a manufacturer's warranty of 36 months from Nasco. I have been in touch with both Owl Ranch and with Nasco and both point fingers at the other. I sent my first e-mail to Nasco on June 19, 2013; they have always responded and claim they are eager to help me but can't do so without the order number. I have sent them many numbers as well as copies of the receipt and the warranty and they still refuse to help me. Owl Ranch answered one of my e-mails saying they would "see what they could do" but I have not heard any more from them.Desired Settlement: With such little use, these manikins are obviously defective and should be replaced with a product of better quality. I would accept repair service provided that the repair as well as shipping both ways was also covered by Nasco.

Regarding the complaint against Nasco, #[redacted], filed with the Revdex.com on February 24, 2014, a Nasco representative contacted Ms. [redacted] on March 10, 2014 in an effort to resolve the matter. Through the ensuing conversation, Nasco instructed Ms. [redacted] to ship the non-conforming items to our productin facility in Wisconsin, where the items will be refurbished or replaced, as necessary. The costs of shipping and repair will be covered under the terms of the existing warranty. Ms. [redacted] has communicated her acceptance of these actions to resolve her complaint and expressed her appreciation for our efforts to repair the items.

Terrible experience with this company: I am an art teacher and called to set up an art education account so I could get discounts. I told this to the representative. After being put on hold, and then taking a long time to get all of my data over the phone, she asked me what my first item was. I told her I thought I was setting up an educator account, yet she said, no. To do that, I would have to send a preliminary order in and get a quote for an art educator discount. Who has the time to do this? Why not just tell us what the educator price is per item, or our % discount from the start- like other companies? Total waste of time. To make things worse, I ended up ordering some supplies anyway, without taking the time to get an educator quote. I did this the easy, modern way, via internet. I got a a confirmation email with my order, I used a coupon for a 10% off, and the internet site validated it via my confirmation and credit card charge. I did this to receive my product asap for a upcoming lesson plan. I though everything was taken care of until..... The next day, I get a barely audible voice mail (no email) that tells me that Nasco regrets not being able to honor the 10% off, and asking my permission to charge my card for the full amount. This company is disorganized and completely unprofessional. Beware, especially if you are an art educator!!!
