Victura Roofing was a nightmare for my residential roofing project in Initially, one of their reps signed me to a contract when I was working with him under a different roofing company, so right away Victura does not have honest, above-board people working for themThe rep set up a contract for pricing based on replacement costs from my insurance and then proceeded to write it up with lesser-quality materials and work than my insurance was providing The understanding was that I would pay the total amount of money that Insurance sent me I discovered after they'd done the roofwork that it was lesser quality than the Insurance estimate was going to pay Victura submitted an Invoice directly to my Insurance without my knowledge for the specific purpose of getting Insurance to pay the total maximum amount of replacement cost, regardless of the lesser-quality materials and work they'd provided If I hadn't had separate roofing contractors inspecting the work, I wouldn't have known this Also, the work was shoddy - Victura hires friends of theirs to do work, not professionals Roofing and gutter work was done OK but all other supplemental work resulted in many repairs - window glazing fell off, fascia fell offstains all over concrete, damage to garage door finishthat they had to fix It took from June to December to work with Victura to get to agreed amount I should pay and to get them to fix damage THEY CAUSED The problem is all through the company from leadership down Horrible experience - do not use Victura Victura is the definition of contractors to avoid, as described on the North Texas Roofing Contractors Association website in "Tips for Hiring a Roofing Contractor" They may have been in business over years, but they would not have survived that long with the current leadership and practices of cutting corners and fooling customers

Victura Roofing's salesman, *** ***, provided us with a bid to remove an existing carport, build a replacement carport to be tied into our existing roof, and re-roof our house A separate carport framer named *** evaluated the carport portion of the job and provided the cost to *** ***, which was incorporated into a single bid
On January 25, 2017, *** *** came by our residence and collected a signed contract and a check for $8,000, which was a material deposit and equaled half of the project amount At that ***e, *** stated they would apply for the permit the next day, and a crew should be out by Friday (1/27) to take down the carport
On January 28, 2017, my husband texted *** to find out when everything would start *** texted back saying he didn't know the specific date but it would be within the next week, and should take two weeks to complete
February 8, we made additional contact, and *** said we should expect an email from their office Two additio
