Nassar Womens Care Reviews (3)

Good Morning [redacted],
This complaint occurred January 14, 2016. Camarena Health did not acquire the Nasser women's Care until July 2017, this patient has never been seen with Camarena health. Please contact me if you have any further questions.

The bill was sent to the patient late...

but she was not being sent to collections. The billing department just wanted to discuss the bill first and ensure the patient understood the reasoning behind the charges.
The billing department did reach out to the patient and reduce the amount owed to just the price of the device because they were sympathetic to the patient's concerns regarding the bill. They are no longer asking the patient to cover her share of cost for the procedure itself or the facility and provider but only the cost of the device. I hope this clarifies the issue. thanks

I am rejecting this response because:Before I had received the procedure I was told to go to planned parenthood to receive the Family pact card to have the procedure, supplies and visit covered.  I was informed that I would not have to pay out of pocket  by the staff and the doctor who performed the procedure, as I had to pay out of pocket the previous time I received the same procedure. They claim that they cannot bill the family pact card due to my private insurance but I have spoke to other patients who have private insurance as well and had their family pact card billed for their procedures at this particular doctors office.  Two years had passed and I was under the impression that I never had an outstanding balance with this company until they sent me a letter stating I was going to collections.  It is unfair that they inform me to get the family pact card and my procedure will be covered, then send me a bill and statement two years later informing me I will be going to collections for their mistake.  When I called the billing department regarding the bill and wondering why I am being billed after I was told the procedure would be covered, they knew they made a mistake and that is why they tried to reduce the bill and would still send me to collections.  It is unfair I am being at fault for their mistake in the billing issue. Thank you [redacted]
