Review: Nassau Builders was hired and paid to build 1000 sf extension on our home on June 2013. To this date they have failed to complete or honor the contract. The were many issues during the project that they have failed to address, and now they just left for us to find a alternative solution with total disregard. [redacted] was the GC on the project and has been nothing but negligent in his actions. We have had leaks on the chimney they refaced and ruined a couple ceilings in the house that were not even part of the project. We also have plumbing issues. We have had to hire other companies to complete unfinished work. And they have not delivered on plumbing certificates. They also installed and charged for a sprinkler system that is not even connected to the water. They left a room totally unfinished. We tried contacting [redacted] via email, text and phone calls he has not returned or been back to our home since Feb ** 2014.Desired Settlement: I would like to get a refund of $50.000 back from Nassau Builder from the $190.000 we paid them. The contract price was $155.000 but he charged me for extras that were never completed. That added up to $190.000 I feel that its about the amount it will cost me to finish the job, and repair the damage that Nassau builders created.
