Revdex.com: Hello, as stated in my prior message, I arrived at 6:And the door was closedI left at 7pmNo one could've arrived by 6:45pm because they would've met me outside of the salonI probably spent about minutes trying to figure out if there was a back door, peeking through the window to see if they were really closed and verifying whether or not I had the correct venue because I had an appointment and did not anticipate the shop to be closedI was more in disbelief that the shop was closed because I had an appointmentI was looking for a sign that said be right backThe pizza store confirmed that the shop was closedI waited for a half hour and due to the fact that I was told the shop is closed, I physically see it closed, I called the number several times with no answer, and there's no sign that says be right back, along with store hours closing at 6pm, all of these indications led me to believe that the salon is closed so I leftAs I previously mentioned, if the business were open, I would've waited until my scheduled time and stayed at the salonWith all signs that the business is closed, how am I supposed to know that someone was coming back? I was not issued an apology or offered any solutions to the issueI had every intention of getting my hair done, hence the reason why I set the appointment and paid the depositI was leaving for vacation the very next day and my hair wasn't doneDue to the time of the appointment, I couldn't even schedule another one at another salonI do not think 6pm is the middle of the day, that is the close of business for most salonsBased on my experience and the experience of most, if a business close their doors, especially salons, they close for the rest of the day, unless they indicate appointment only or note that they will be right backThe business lacks clarity in their operation hours and poor customer service on handling an issueDue to the lack of clarity of not being contacted or having proper indication of hours, I was not servicedHad there been proper indication of service hours on the door for a first time customer, I would've known to wait for someoneFor the simple fact that there was no clarity on the end of the salon, no solutions offered, and they're fighting to keep my money is poor customer service in itselfThe only solution at this time that I would like is an apology and my money back

Good Evening, I am [redacted], the owner of NHB . This situation did occur but not exactly how this client has described. After arriving an hour and 15 minutes early for her appointment she did not come back during her scheduled time. She first told me that she arrived at 6:15 and left at 630 once...

she seen our hours displayed on our door and spoke to our next door neighbors. I personally was not in again until 9 AM the next morning. I had a scheduled client as soon as I came in so I did not get a chance to check our messages right  away . Around 10:30 AM she called and first spoke to one of my stylist . After about 5 minutes she was put on hold and I was told she was being rude so the stylist asked me to speak with her . I answered the phone and right away I was attacked with an attitude. I waited for her to finish speaking and asked if she can explain the situation again because I was not listening fully because of how she was speaking to me. She then told me how she was there early and didn't understand how a business could close in the middle of the day . I then went to explain that we do close at 6 but on Tuesdays and Thursday's we have late hours that go by appointment only. This is not on our door but for the past two years this has not been an issue until now. People usually arrive no earlier than 20 minutes for their appts and always find some one there . I did apologize for the misunderstanding and further explained why I had left early and that since this issue never occurred I never thought to call and let her know since she had a scheduled appointment at 730 with my partner. I told her that my stylist arrived at 645 and waited for her until 8pm and no one called or showed up from 730-8pm . She told me she did not care about anything I was saying and that I was unprofessional . I told her I did not understand how I was unprofessional because no one was late for her appointment and she did not call us to let us know she would be arriving early so we had no way of knowing this would happen . In my opinion this was a misunderstanding between both parties but due to my policy our deposits are non-refundable (this is listed on my site) and regardless of the misunderstanding she was a no call no show AT THE TIME of her arranged appointment. Before I could offer a solution she had told me she was scheduled for a vacation and needed her hair done at that time and just wanted her money back . Due to her lack of respect I did not feel the need to go further with a solution so I reiterated that her deposit would not be refunded and she then yelled that she would get it back and hung up the phone. In the past I have came across situations that needed to be resolved and I have done so as a respectful and understanding owner of a business. In This instant I believe it is not fair that my business will be rated negatively by some one who decided only not to show up at the time of their appointment but also create their own rules of arriving early without any notice.
