To Whom It May Concern: I Spoke to my monthly department in order to get the details of the refund amountIt would appear that Mr [redacted] spoke with his bank and had the $charge reversed Mr [redacted] has several vehicles that have an original start date of the first of the month or toward the beginning of the month and because his payment date was towards the end of the month the amount that was paid towards the end of the month a large portion of that had already been used or in the terms of State Farm the premium had already been “earned” and so that would naturally reflect a smaller refund because each of the several policies that he had had different start dates but were all paid on the same day of the monthBased on the cancellation date of August some policies may have small refunds some policies may not have refunds some policies may actually still owe premium but that all depends on the original policy start dateHere are the original coverage dates, 10/01/15, 05/23/16, 04/23/10, 04/23/10, 09/01/10, 07/13/12, 03/07/14, 04/11/15, 04/28/All of the policies show a cancellation date of August 22, Any Refund that would have been generated would’ve been accurate because it’s based on the original effective date the date of cancellation as well as the payment date when a refund is determinedIt is system generated and again I have never seen a mistake when a refund amount is generatedBased on the three different variables of dates involved in any cancellation scenario, several clients often expressed confusion and frustration with how the State Farm payment plan generates a refundTechnically Mr [redacted] owes State Farm Payment Plan for the “earned premium” during the month of August but that is often the case when a client cancels and then has their bank return the last payment to State FarmNo further action is needed from me or my staff so I will update my notes accordinglyKind Regards, Nate S [redacted] As requested I canceled the policies and once that takes place any refund that is generated is accurateI have never seen State Farm make a mistake on a refund and thankfully I do not determine refund amounts but the State Farm payment plan determines them and will communicate with the client accordinglyMr [redacted] will likely receive a letter from the state farm payment plan saying that he owes State Farm premium since the full was refunded, but at this point it is now between Mr [redacted] and the State Farm payment planUnless Mr [redacted] plans on making a payment for the earned premium during the month of August to the State Farm payment plan there is nothing more that can be done at this point

Complaint: ***
I am rejecting this response because: Nate keeps saying it is State Farms problem, but is or was my State Farm agentHe IS State FarmI will not consider this matter resolved until I receive a refund of the $that State Farm stole from my bank account. This has been going on for over a month nowNate S*** has been impossible to reachHe does not answer his office phone or return phone callsThe Revdex.com needs to issue a warning so that other consumers know to stay away from his business and find a different insurance agent.
Sincerely,
*** ***

All refunds are calculated and issued from our regional officeI have no say in the matter other than making sure the policies have cancelled, which they haveAs far as assuming a payment was prorated up front, that is not accurateState Farm only prorates monthly payments upon termination not inceptionIn the years I have worked in a State Farm Office it has never changedI am not trying to argue with Mr***, I am simply stating how company refunds are calculated as well as explaining the different start dates of the policies in questionI have no further authority in the matter, I’m basically the messenger and as requested all policies have been cancelledWithin the scope of my authority/responsibility the matter has been resolved and the policies have been cancelled as requested.Respectfully,Nate S***

To Whom It May Concern: I Spoke to my monthly department in order to get the details of the refund amount. It would appear that Mr. [redacted] spoke with his bank and had the $515 charge reversed.  Mr. [redacted] has several vehicles that have an original start date of the first of the month or...

toward the beginning of the month and because his payment date was towards the end of the month the amount that was paid towards the end of the month a large portion of that had already been used or in the terms of State Farm the premium had already been “earned” and so that would naturally reflect a smaller refund because each of the several policies that he had had different start dates but were all paid on the same day of the month. Based on the cancellation date of August 22 some policies may have small refunds some policies may not have refunds some policies may actually still owe premium but that all depends on the original policy start date. Here are the original coverage dates, 10/01/15, 05/23/16, 04/23/10, 04/23/10, 09/01/10, 07/13/12, 03/07/14, 04/11/15, 04/28/15. All 9 of the policies show a cancellation date of August 22, 2017. Any Refund that would have been generated would’ve been accurate because it’s based on the original effective date the date of cancellation as well as the payment date when a refund is determined. It is system generated and again I have never seen a mistake when a refund amount is generated. Based on the three different variables of dates involved in any cancellation scenario, several clients often expressed confusion and frustration with how the State Farm payment plan generates a refund. Technically Mr. [redacted] owes State Farm Payment Plan for the “earned premium” during the month of August but that is often the case when a client cancels and then has their bank return the last payment to State Farm. No further action is needed from me or my staff so I will update my notes accordingly. Kind Regards, Nate S[redacted]  As requested I canceled the policies and once that takes place any refund that is generated is accurate. I have never seen State Farm make a mistake on a refund and thankfully I do not determine refund amounts but the State Farm payment plan determines them and will communicate with the client accordingly. Mr. [redacted] will likely receive a letter from the state farm payment plan saying that he owes State Farm premium since the full 515 was refunded, but at this point it is now between Mr. [redacted] and the State Farm payment plan. Unless Mr. [redacted] plans on making a payment for the earned premium during the month of August to the State Farm payment plan there is nothing more that can be done at this point.
