Complaint: ***I am rejecting this response because: An employee of Nathan Young Construction said they needed to disconnect a breaker box for an old hot tub connection on my property prior to starting a remodel project that I paid them $30,for. I told his employee that I never knew there was a hot tub on my property and that I have no intention of putting one back in at my residence. I am not an electrician and I relied on Nathan Young Construction's expertise that this box was no longer necessary and had to be disconnected before they could begin my $30,remodel. I did not know that Nathan Young Construction was also disconnecting the power line to my air conditioning. I did not find out they disconnected my electricity to the air conditioning until I tried to use air conditioning in April 2016. The electrician I hired to make the repairs said any contractor should have been able to tell that the line they were disconnecting from the breaker box also led to the air conditioning. Nathan Young construction should not have disconnected the electricity to my air conditioning and should pay for the $I spent to diagnose the problem and have this fixed by an electrician.
The damage to my air conditioning was not caused by a previous contractor the air conditioning unit had electricity connected to it until Nathan Young Construction disconnected it. Sincerely,*** ***
Attached are the receipts from A-Temp Heating and Christensen Electric confirming that during my remodel Nathan Young Construction "gutted the electrical box providing power to my air conditioning unit."
