The plan information that was provided to us by the patient himself clearly states a co paymentMy staff repeatedly called his insurance company to try to resolve this for Mr***We were told his co pay is on three separate occasionsWe filed his insurance claim the same day of his
visit and the EOB, ( explanation of benefits), we received back also co pay of We sent this information to Mr***Despite this he insisted his co pay was $Due to this I called his insurance personally and after speaking with more than one representative they were able to track down another benefit for ***It turns out that Mr*** has a 2nd insurance plan, which was never provided to us by Mr***/ This 2nd insurance, which does Not show up on the Insurance plan, which was never provided to us by Mr***This 2nd insurance, which does Not show up on the insurance site, has a different ID # altogether that was provided to us by this patient and is now some thing my staff could have found via the insurance website as it does not show up thereIn fact it was very difficult for the Insurance rep we spoke to several times to find itThere was absolutely no wrong doing on the part of my staff or officeWe are happy to say we finally got this resolved and a refund check in the amount of was sent to Mr*** on 10/20/Should you have any further questions or need more information please contact our office
