I used Discount Auto Transport recently to ship a 1969 Pontiac Grand Prix I purchased from Michigan to California. I have never had cause to use a service like this before and basically stumbled on to them while searching the internet. There are many auto transport cos. out there and I did receive several quotes. Discount Auto Transport's website caught my eye because they have excellent tips right on their site for selecting a transport co. I used the tips while querying other companies and after contacting Chris [redacted] at Discount Auto Transport and explaining my needs I felt confident with the process. I requested an enclosed trailer and he put out the word out to drivers. Chris stated he only uses the top drivers with auto transport experience. The seller had specific days the car could be picked up and Chris worked closely with me as he got close to selecting a carrier. I made several calls to Chris during the waiting and Chris was always courteous and professional. We settled on GT Auto Transport for the carrier, Chris told me this particular driver has a 100% satisfaction rating and that is exactly what I was looking for. The drivers name is Mike and at this point the seller and I had the drivers direct Ph. #. The pick up inspection and delivery inspection went as planned with no issues. GT Transport driver (Mike) was very professional and cautious while unloading my car. My experience with this process was excellent and I highly recommend Discount Auto Transport.

My experience with Discount Auto Transport getting my car shipped from Massachusetts to Wisconsin was very good. After my initial call on a Friday it only took until Monday for Chris to find a quality hauler. The trucker arrived at the MA address and was very courteous dealing with my mother, making his initial inspection and carefully loading the car onto his truck. On Wed. I got the call from the trucker and soon had the car delivered to my WI home. During the process, Chris was always available to answer my questions either by text or a phone call. I would definitely use Discount Auto Transport if I needed a car shipped again.

We are thrilled with the service that we received from Discount Auto Transport and from Chris in particular. Although we live in Wisconsin, the car shipped went from Eugene, Oregon to Marco Island, Florida. Thus access to information at each step was of great importance to us. Chris and the carrier he selected for us both kept us well informed as the vehicle went from driveway to driveway. The condition of the vehicle when received in Florida was exactly as it was when it left Oregon (we had videos made at both ends just in case there was a problem). I have shipped several cars over the years. Most have been a real hassle. I have used Discount Auto transport several times over the past 3 years and they are fantastic to work with. I don't even price shop anymore, because its just not worth trying to save $100 and have someone that is not fully insured damage my car or show up on time.
