I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
The 'push rod / plunger' made for me doesn't work--there is no spring on it and it was supposed to hold ten shells (only holds five)--willing to work with that, thoughI took the gun back to him and proved it didn't work (I've used it with single shells for years and decided to have the plunger replaced)There is NO INCORRECT WAY that the bullet can go in wrong if the mechanism is working correctly(I now have the damaged bullet tips to prove it's not working correctly)And yes, he MOST CERTAINLY DID SAY "This is a cheap gun anyway--what do you expect? I have time into it"Those were his EXACT words

On January 28, 2016, Mr. [redacted] came to our store with a firearm in need of repair. The gun that he brought in is a Norinco EM321, 22 LR caliber, a slide action (pump) type of a gun. [redacted] with a brief revival in production in 1994. There is no way for us to know which year the gun was produced exactly. They were crudely made and not known to be of good manufacture from a quality perspective.Mr. [redacted]’s gun was missing the magazine tube assembly. We advised him that parts were no longer available. We did mention that for 22 pump action guns there was an American standard part that fit various brands of US made guns. We had one and offered to try to make it work, no guarantee expressed or implied. This would be considered custom work. Well we made the part fit by cutting it and making a few other mechanical adjustments to the re-machined part. We at this point noticed the gun still didn’t function. The ammunition in the magazine seemed to be unable to reach the mechanism that inserted the round into the chamber of the gun. At this point we collected $75.00 on our receipt number 2686 of January 28, 2016. We explained to Mr. [redacted] that more work needed to be done to make it fully functional. This additional work would need to be done by an outside gunsmith. Mr. [redacted] agreed to this and we sent the gun out. It is not uncommon for custom gun work to take months. Mid February Mr. [redacted] began to call frequently (every few days) to rush us to get his repair completed. We delivered the gun back to him on March 5, 2016. He came in and paid the additional $44.00. See our receipt #3210. Shortly after on the same day he returned and said he could not make the gun work. He handed the gun to me and I showed him how to make the gun work. After instructing him in the operation of his gun he left the store and came back. He said a second time that he could not make the gun work and I took the time to show him how to make it function. All this being said the original magazine that we replaced held according to Mr. [redacted] 10 rounds of 22 ammunition. I cannot be sure that this is correct. The part we fabricated for him only holds 5 rounds. He did not end up with nothing to show for his money. The gun does function when used properly. And furthermore I did not say "it's a cheap gun anyway". We are a new business to this area and pride ourselves on our high level of customer service.Considering what was done for Mr. [redacted] we believe we owe him nothing, he received good value for his money. Review: On January 28th, 2016 I took my 22 rifle in to this business and paid $80.00 for them to make a tube-spring loader. However, after they did, they said the bullets wouldn't chamber properly. They looked it over and said it would be a quick, easy fix and they would send it to their gunsmith, which I understand they did two days later. (However the loader should hold ten shells, but now it only holds five and you have to really work with it to get them down.)

By February 26th I called to inquire about my gun and they said it would be ready March 1st. When I called again on March 4th, they said the gunsmith had been busy but it would be done soon. They then left a message on March 5th, saying the gun was done.

I immediately picked it up and paid the remaining charge of $47, but when I brought it home, it didn't work. Within five minutes I had it back to them--and it worked once for them, but then again did not work.

When I asked about some type of remuneration for the $127 I'd paid, they refused and said "It's a cheap gun anyway!"

I know time was spent, but I ended up with nothing to show for my money!!Desired Settlement: As stated above, the spring loader doesn't work and I'm stuck with a gun that I can only hand-feed one shell at a time into the chamber. Feel I should receive SOMETHING for my $127.00 I've paid...
