This does nothing to address the fact that other people have received similar emails from the organizationOne communication I received in response to this problem was "Huh?"Another was that this was an "isolated incident"I've received these misdirected emails multiple times, and others have noted that they, too have been receiving these misdirected messages on more than one occasionSomething is seriously wrong, and people are starting to worry about information (phone numbers, email addresses, information in their queries) being revealed to unknown partiesI have asked multiple times (and have not yet received one reply): "What is being done to insure that this never happens again?"

I spoke with the company and they stated that the consumers email address will be removed and the way they receive consumers email addresses is when an online petition is signedIf an online petition is signed, the consumer's email address will be added to their system again

I have reviewed the offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me -IF- it is understood that I do not and will never sign an online petition of any kind; if my e-mail address is submitted in such a manner it is without my knowledge and should be rejected.
If NAGR agrees to this, you may consider the situation resolved

I spoke with [redacted] from the company and stated that she will remove the consumer's email address from their system today.

Review: Someone within the NAGR is forwarding emails to me containing information left on their web site's "Contact Us" page, asking for follow-up or rebuttals. Obviously, they think I'm someone else, someone within the company. These emails contain PRIVATE information, including email addresses, phone numbers, and details about school or employment for the people who left their comments. I have reached out to the NAGR to (a) find out how this happened, (b) prevent it from happening again and (c) make them aware that it has been happening (because I may not be the only one receiving this information). I have not received a response, despite multiple attempts. I have warned them that I will take additional action, including the possibility of contacting the people whose information they have shared and the very real possibility of drafting a press release for media outlets to make the general public aware of their actions if I do not hear from them.

I have not heard from them.Desired Settlement: Someone at the NAGR needs to contact me to let me know that they're aware of the situation and dealing with it. They also need to find out how it started, how widespread it is, and who is responsible for it so that they can ensure it never happens again. This is akin to leaving a copy of someone's ID laying around in a public location. It's VERY dangerous to share the information I now have. Luckily for the people who are the victims here, I'm the kind of person who will not only take extraordinary measures to safeguard their privacy, but will pursue the company to make sure everyone's information is kept safe.

This does nothing to address the fact that other people have received similar emails from the organization. One communication I received in response to this problem was "Huh?". Another was that this was an "isolated incident". I've received these misdirected emails multiple times, and others have noted that they, too have been receiving these misdirected messages on more than one occasion. Something is seriously wrong, and people are starting to worry about information (phone numbers, email addresses, information in their queries) being revealed to unknown parties. Review: This organization has disregarded multiple directions to cease sending me spam emails. They finally processed an unsubscribe notice some time ago. This week I began recieving messages again, indicating I had been "re-added" to their system as of march 10th.Desired Settlement: You will immediately turn over to me any and all information regarding who readded my address to your list this week, as well as terminating any and all attempts to send me emails of any kind.

Regards,

Review: The company in question sends several emails to myself from individual personal emails. when I ask to unsubscribe my requests are not honored and instead I receive emails from other individual emails. The changing email addresses make it hard to filter as spam. Generally this is an annoying advertising tactic that has lowered any opinion I had of this company.Desired Settlement: I just want them to honor my unsubscribe request.
