I was in a motor vehicle accident with a client of safety insurance so I filed a claim because the accident was the fault of the safety driverMy car was appraised and I was sent a check of over $for my car repairs to find out the check would not clear because safety had no funds available for the check they sent meIf I as a consumer were to do this I could be put in jail for writing a bad check knowinglyThese ibsurance companies should not get away with what the rest of us can't get away with especially when it's illegal

I left my auto insurance company and a separate home owners to join home/auto together and went with SafetyMy agent gave me their name as a choice, I was with Safety for two years, never missed a payment but was down graded from Premium customer to standard which raised my premium because Safety's under writer missed the fact that over years ago I had to claim bankruptcyI was switched over to another company that has a much higher monthly payment than SafetyI was told by my agent Safety considers bankruptcy customers to be a higher risk and was told today from Safety this is a practice of theirs.How can someone rebuild their credit let alone be punished because their under writer missed a major issue? I've never missed a bankruptcy payment or Safety.paymentNow because of their error I'm forced into a higher monthly payment I think this is discrimination and sets me back from rebuilding my credit

This is in regards to auto accident claim #***My mother was in a car accident with Safety's insured on March 21'sDue to the English Language barrier I am handling this claimSince then it has been extremely difficult to get any answersThe adjusters do not pick up the phone or return phone callsIf they do they are very rude, they do not let me ask any questions, they talk over meIf I finally get a question across I'm rudely told, no, I don't know and absolutely noDue to this horrible customer service I know this claim has not been handled in good faith

I had an insurance premium payment bounce due to lack of funds at time of collection, and when I settled up shortly after Safety did not re-instate my policy as expectedInstead, days later they threatened my local insurance agent and I, that reinstatement would not be guaranteed in the futureNo company policy was cited, simply the whim and discretion of an individualWith a saturated market of auto insurance companies I can't imagine that this is a competitive practice, and I also worry that those less fortunate than I am would be treated unfairly under this practice

I was rear ended by one of their policy holders in March of I called in shortly after to have a claim startedI received a letter stating that they will be paying for the damage to my car since their policy holder is at faultI have called several times to speak to my adjuster and I have not been able to get a call back at allI have questions regarding the repairs needed for my car and the people I have spoken to, aside from being extremely rude, just cut me off and send me to the very adjuster that I can never get ahold ofThey refuse to answer any questions and am constantly bounced from person to person

I was notified that a claim was being made against my insuranceThe allegation was an accident involving my daughter months ago and that the person just put the claim inI immediately contacted my claims adjuster demanding to know more but was told safety insurance policy prevents information about the accident being releasedThe only info was the claim was presented on 12/27/from an accident occurring on 7/1/This was a day we were out of the stateNo other information was being releasedI'm their client and they are refusing to inform me about this accidentI was provided an accident report form to fill out without any other informationDon't use Safety insuranceOverpriced without support for their own client

I log on monthly to pay my invoices for liability insurance with Safety Insurance ON my account page there is a section that lists the payment due date, minimum payment due and total balance When I logged on to my account on both August 23rd and September 17th my minimum amount due was listed as $and the payment due dates were August 24th and September 22nd On these occasions I paid $and $that was more than the amount due listed I also received via email and in the mail a notice saying that if they did not receive the amount of $by the dates of August 24th and Sepember 22nd my insurance would be cancelled (see notices attached) However I paid more than the amount noted in each case yet still my insurance was cancelledWhen my insurance agent called Safety Insurance to inquire, he was told that I really should have paid $and since I did not pay that amount my insurance was cancelledHowever if I needed to pay that much then why didn't my website min

My wife was involved in an accident with a person who has Safety Insurance as their auto insuranceThey rear ended my wife's carAnd both party has agreed the person who rear ended my wife's car at 100% fault
Safety Insurance rep instructed my wife concerning the baby seat that was occupied by my son during the accident needed to be replacedOnce an identical seat is purchased we need to cut the seat belts off of the original child seat, rendering it uselessPhotograph the results and submit the photo along with the purchase order invoice for a reimbursementWe have submitted all info more than weeks ago with follow up email asking for updatesZero response from safety insurance

ON 9/23/I LEFT WORK AT ABOUT 5PM TO AND WALKED UP THE STREET TO MY VEHICLEAS I APPROACHED MY VEHICLE, I SAW THAT IT WAS DAMAGED ON THE RIGHT SIDE AND APPEARED TO BE HIT BY SOMETHING OR SOMEONEI WAS PARKED ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE ROAD AND I AUTOMATICALLY ASSUMED THAT SOMEONE HAD BACKED INTO MY CAR AS THEY PULLED OUT OF THEIR DRIVEWAY I LOOKED AROUND AND SAW THAT THERE WAS NO ONE AROUND AND THAT THERE WASN'T A NOTE OR ANYTHING LEFTI THEN CALLED MY BOYFRIEND WHO ADVISED ME TO JUST DRIVE TO A SHOP IF THE CAR WAS DRIVABLEI DIDNT CALL THE POLICE BECAUSE I DIDNT THINK THAT THEY COULD DO ANYTHING IF THERE WASNT ANOTHER VEHICLE AROUND OR ANY WITNESSES, EXACTLY WHAT I TOLD MY INSURANCEI REPORTED THE CLAIM TO MY INSURANCE THE NEXT DAY AND WAS CONTACTED BY AN ADJUSTER ON 9/I EXPLAINED WHAT HAPPENED AND HE STATED THAT HE WOUND ASSIGN IT TO AN APPRAISER AND HAVE THEM GO LOOK AT THE VEHICLEON 9/THE ADJUSTER CALLED ME AND INFORMED ME THAT THE APPRAISER, *** ***, HAD DEE

This review involves a claim from an auto accident in which I am supposed to have full coverage for Anyway the service was absolutely terrible While I have only days rental coverage, it is the incompetence of Safety insurance to get answers from their sub-contracted appraisers in a timely manor In other words *** *** *** had been dragging their feet the whole time and Safety did absolutely nothing to get me back on the road They kept saying things like I'll get back to you or times where they just didn't get back to me at all Long story short I ended up paying my deductible out of pocket along with rental and supplemental damages from the accident that first Safety took weeks on weeks to finally just say no they are not paying After my adjuster told me they would cover it Then my adjuster contacts me after saying the rental will be covered and says he mis-calculated and I will have to pay for that also After the fact that they gave me the green light I missed work and even a weekend trip Who is going to pay for all this where I am already paying full coverage premium??? See you in court Safety You thieves Where are the Police to charge these crooks They work to protect the rich but will jail us for driving with no insurance Hypocrites

Not once have I had a call returned*** *** hung up on me, I asked for a written apology and did not receiveI tried to clear things up and work with Safety before reporting to Revdex.com, not one person caredI have had medical issues due to the amount of stress I have gone through with safety insuranceSafety insurance lied to me about my last claim stating the other driver said I was at fault which was untrue, I contacted the other driver myself who is also a safety insurance customer, who was upset that safety insurance went behind his back and lied about the claim as wellThe other driver was nice enough to work something out with me since I was unable to count on my own insurance company who are a bunch of rude, unprofessional, careless and untrustworthy group of employees

Their Insured client was under direct responsibility of a vehicleUnder the responsibility of the insured, the vehicle was STOLENNow Safety Insurance Company is saying they don't cover that car since it was "not on the policy." NoIf my friend drives my car, and crashes it, for example, all insurance claims are handled by the provider that covers the DRIVERNot necessarily the carIf my friend sent the claim to my insurance provider, they AUTOMATICALLY forward the claim to his insurance providerThis has happened to me before, and that is how it was taken care of, yet SIC doesn't want to take care of anything

We had a basement flooding issue that was covered under our insurance policyThe claims agent generated the damage assessment and repair work costs, and provided info on the mitigation services to remove mold/water/ and do repair workThey set those charges up independently of our actual damage recovery costs and we had written and email validation of the claimsThey paid out our damage items recovery claim, but did not pay the mitigation company, and told them that had to come out of our item recovery payment - clearly not what the written documents or our email discussions had documented what would happenThey tried to scam me and lied about over and over againI kept the written records, the phone records and the email trails that showed they were dishonest and scamming me throughout this process of the mitigation company trying to get paid for their work over a month (they kept sending us the direct bills and asking us to pay for it)After their email trail and the written documents I had from the claim uncovered all the lying, they finally agreed to pay the mitigation company and claimed it was just an honest mistake on their partI have the complete email trial that shows they were dishonest and trying to scam me and not meet their written commitmentsReally disgusting and unethical behavior on the part of Safety InsuranceThey knew full well what their committments were and simply tried to not abide by them and have us pay for repair work that they had agreed to pay separatelyI guess its not surprising that an Insurance Company would try and scam their customers, but be wary, cause this one did it to me before they got caught in their dishonesty

Attached is a copy of the letter I sent to my insurance company on July 31, regarding possible fraud by 5-star discount roofing (*** * *** ** *** **, Halifax MA with list of contacts I would send it to if he could not fulfill the contract quicklyHe has my payments and seen this information, but claims he cannot do it now

Safety insurance is charging use billing rates of $16.29, $38.39, $*** claims this is to cover billing expensesI told her that first of all I do not need paper billing as I am a web pay customerSecondly an envelope and stamp can be had for under a couple of dollars*** stopped responding to my email contacts and I consider her to be uninterested in any help on this matter

My new truck was struck and damaged by someone on the highway he struck,my truck with a object ROAD RAGE I called the state police and it was logged in the *** ma barracks the persons vehicle is insured with safety insurance as well as my truck I forwarded the police log to *** *** the claims adjuster he told me I was responsible foe my deductible I told him to go after the other insured apparently he didn't care and deducted three hundred from my claim I Have been a customer for THIRTY YEARS!!!! The adjuster said its a he said she said basically calling me a year old liar this is the third problem I have had with safety insurance they are not worth dealing with go to *** or *** *** I've owned my own automotive business for over forty years they are the worst they don't pay please feel free to contact me I have two more claim stories that will blow you away best $hundred I've ever lost now since I don't have to deal with them anymore when I cancel regards

Awful company! Stay away at all costs

My car insurance policy was supposed to end in the beginning of MayI sent a cancellation notice (papers that I was given from my new insurance provider) to the insurance agent in the beginning of April that I did not want to renew my policy, to cancel it and that I had already changed my insurance The Agent received my cancellation notice but he did not acknowledge it and continued to renew the policy without my consentWhen I called the agent to see why the policy had not been cancelled I was told that I had to cancel my plates at the RMV and fax him a receipt after doing so

I've had safety for yearsA car crashed through my home and they told me to use my homeowners insurance instead of the other persons car insurance because they would pay full price to repair my house back to its original conditionMind you that both myself and the other person both carried Safety InsuranceIt is now almost a year later and I still have literally a hole in my foundation because they are saying my estimates are to high, they are depreciating the value of materials and my home and are refusing to pay the amount needed to get my house repaired
I have even gotten to the point of hiring a structural engineer to as the damage and they again for the 4th time sent out an adjuster, they also have my reason for damage listed as snow/ice damage, which has been brought to their attention numerous timesThey also have not paid for medical bills that have accumulated as a result of the accidentIf you have them I say find another insurance company
