Sent: Friday, March 03, 2017 2:38 PMSubject: Revdex.com case # [redacted] To Whom It May Concern:  This letter is to display our side of the events that took place leading to the complaint against our business. Before I begin, please allow me to start by saying that the company is not now nor has it...

ever been owned by anybody named Brandon. He is our current general manager, however he has never been nor claimed to be the owner. This business was owned by two middle eastern gentleman, one of which was over seas quite alot. We purchased the business from these gentleman and encountered Ms. [redacted] almost right away. Her vehicle, the 2006 [redacted], had sat on the back of our property, which is ungated, and we do not employ a security staff. We informed Ms. [redacted] that we had not worked on her vehicle, because we had not. We were informed by the previous owners that there was an issue with Ms. [redacted] not agreeing to their price to repair the vehicle, and so she had sent a tow truck to pick the vehicle up. we released the vehicle, with no charges, and received a phone call several days later accusing us of stealing her starter. We had found a starter a day or two prior on the ground near where the vehicle was located and the starter was imprinted with the [redacted] logo, so assuming that the starter must belong to her, we called her to come and claim it. It was not the starter that matched the receipt that she had obtained from [redacted]. I personally apologized to her and told her that we did not have any other starters for a [redacted]. She was upset and left threatening to report us to the better business beaureau, which she now has. On the 20th of February I reached out to Ms. [redacted] to inform her that while cleaning out a few of the vehicles on the property from the previous owner, we had come across a starter that did match the part number she had provided us with. Her boyfriend, or husband, not sure which came to our shop and claimed the starter. He then asked to take the starter to [redacted] to comfirm that it still was under warranty. He returned moments later with a new starter stating that the starter was bad and that the warranty had worked. I had this gentleman sign a form stating that they would retract their complaint and their negative [redacted] reviews against our company, as a company should not pay for a predecessor's mistake. attached is a copy of the form signed on the day that the starter was received from our company. I am hoping to resolve this issue quickly as it looks bad on my company. Brandon [redacted] National Roadside Manager
