Review: I ordered an awning on March **, 2013. It was installed mid May. However, it wasn't the color that was shown to me nor did it have the weight bars that were requested. It also developed tears in the awning the first week. I called National Awning and they took down the awning. They were to address all of my concerns and it is now halfway thru summer and I still do not have an awning. I just called the company and I was told that they do not have anyone to install it as their installer is have personal issues. I cannot believe that a company only relies on one person to take care of the entire company installations. I was also told that there is no management in the office for me to talk to that I would have to wait for a call from the owner. My past calls to the owner have gone unanswered. I am extremely disatisfied with the product that was first installed (and am unable to find out when the finished product will be delivered) am disatisfied with the attitude from the clerk in the office and disatisfied with the lack of customer concern on their part.Desired Settlement: Cash refund since no commitment on company's promise can be determined.

At this time, I have been contacted directly by National Awning Corp. regarding complaint ID [redacted], however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

[First I would like to say that the secretary in office has been extremely helpful in resolving the ongoing issue with National Awning. She has been understanding and professional in my dealings with her and helped to make a most difficult situation easier to deal with.

On the other hand, I do not have anything positive to say about the proprietor of National Awning. On September [redacted], the owner called me and told me he would not deliver my awning nor refund my deposit. He told me to "sue him".... He left me no alternative but to reach out to the news media for assistance. "7 On Your Side" responded and with their help my awning was delivered two weeks to the day that National Awning told me to sue him. Kudos to 7 On Your Side. And thumbs down to a businessman who has no business sense....
