because mail is oftentimes received very late in the day.  In your case, Day 1 was Tuesday, June 20th.  A 5-7 business days, as advertised, for your application would be 5 business days on Monday June 26th, with an outside time of Wednesday June 28th (7 business days).  In our system, I have a completion time of 2:53pm, on June 28th, and the results were mailed the same day via UPS.  You received your results on June 30th via the 2 day shipping service that you requested.  It also appears that because we hit our outside time of 7 business days, and you were obviously in a rush, we comped you an emailed copy at no additional cost in an attempt to help with your situation.  So while we did meet our outside time of 7 business days (as advertised), I understand that you have found the wording on our website ambiguous, and we will certainly work towards improving it's clarity.  Please also know that we do value you as a customer, and that your comments and suggestions will go a long way towards helping to improve our business, as well as our relationship with our customers.  Thank you!

NBCI processed [redacted] transaction on Dec. 16th and mailed her results back to her via standard mail.  All customers have the option of choosing their results to be returned via email, UPS 2 day, UPS overnight (both of which can be traced/tracked) or standard mail (US Mail, not...

traceable).  [redacted] chose Standard Mail.  In our application and on our website, we inform customers that when they select Standard Mail, we cannot be held responsible if their package is not received, and that US Standard mail cannot be traced.  Complaints to NBCI are few and far between, and when they occur NBCI takes them very seriously, as we do our best to fulfill the needs of our customers.  When this customer called back, we provided her with the FBI transaction number that indicated her transaction had indeed been processed by the FBI.  NBCI completely fulfill our responsibility to the customer, but we can not be held responsible for delays or system issues in the U.S. Postal Service.
