Review: National Carting fraudulently charged my credit card without my authorization on a contract that did not involve me. My credit card was on file for a charge I had authorized for a contractor I had been working with. I authorized the initial charge with no problem. My contractor had paid cash and has a receipt as proof of payment for a second container. National took a long time to retrieve the container and subsequently there was a lot of rain. National charged my card without authorization. I did not ever contract with National verbally or in written form and never approved the second charge for overage. Although I am disputing the charge with my creditor, National told me that I needed to take up the issue with the contractor as they had charged the card because they didn't want to be out of a loss for the overage charges. The contractor did not give approval for use of my card because he had paid cash. National simply could have called to give the contractor the amount for the overage and settled the issue with him. Additionally, I informed National that the delivery of the container had damaged my property and I'd have the contractor submit a bill to which I was told it was not their fault. In communications with a few members from the town of [redacted], National is not an ethical company.Desired Settlement: I wish to have a credit issued to my credit card because there was NEVER a contract between me and National. I would like National to pay for the damage to the column on my property.
