Please accept our sincerest apologies for the obvious inconvenience these test site cancellations have caused you. Under the circumstances you have described, you have every right to the 100% refund you requested. To ensure you receive your refund as quickly as possible, your test fee will be...

refunded in the manner it was paid. It is being processed today. We do not want you to have to wait for a check in the mail. We hold ourselves to the same "higher standards" you expected from NCCT, so this is unacceptable to all of us. We are investigating what happened at all points and we thank you for bringing it to our attention. Please call us if you do not see evidence of your refund very quickly.  Best of luck to you!

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the response. If no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Assumed Answered] I have updated my email back in 2016 and as you can see from my documents The old email was [redacted] that I no longer use. However, the third document attached shows that my email was updated which a email was sent back in 2016 with the current email address used. The old email address was sent with the notifications that I needed to update my certification which I wouldn't have known that because again I no longer use this email on a regular basis. Also the update of address has nothing to do with why I still wouldn't have received any letters as they are both valid addresses. 1 address is my grandmother's and the other is my personal address due to me just moving into my apartment. The phone calls I made to this company was on my behalf to verify the balance that was needed to pay however I don't recall ever being told I was hitting close to a lapse in my certification. A letter being sent to my home possibly could have been useful as a reminder if that were the case, rather I had my life situations or not. No documentation was properly presented to me to warn me of my lapse of coverage which is not fair to me or to anyone in general!

We have investigated this complaint by reviewing account records documenting pertinent communication with this individual. It is included below, by date of communication:  ·         May 18, 2009: Customer was certified by our organization; certification...

is valid for 5 years. Customer completed partial requirements during a few years to extend this expiration date to May 18, 2017 but did not keep up with the requirements to maintain active status. All such requirements are published on our website. (https://www.ncctinc.com/CE/) ·         April 9, 2016 (10:28 AM): Customer was advised by phone of the actions she would need to take for her certification to be valid through May 18, 2017. She was also advised she could make incremental payments. ·         January 11, 2017 (9:16 AM): Customer confirmed her mailing address by phone & was again advised of her responsibilities to avoid invalidation of her certification. She has submitted nothing (i.e., no CE course documentation or payment) since advised. ·         January 28, 2017 (10:30 PM): Customer updated her mailing address again. Reminders were sent (email and mail) until the expiration date. ·         May 18, 2017: Customer’s certification became invalid. ·         July 29, 2017 (9:24 AM): Customer called. She was advised her certification had expired. Customer told our representative(s) she was never advised of her expiration date; representative advised that our records indicated otherwise and provided details (as above). ·         July 31, 2017 (2:10 PM and 2:24 PM): Customer spoke with a Customer Service Manager. Customer stated she did not know she had needed to “renew” (i.e., meet requirements for maintaining her certification), despite documented phone communications to the contrary for more than a year prior. The Manager brought those conversations to her attention and advised her of our requirements if she wished to reapply for certification with our organization. This customer now asks to be “given the opportunity to fix this” due to her life circumstances, yet she has already been given this opportunity and did not. Since national certification is not a requirement for job entry in this field, this customer can seek employment immediately with or without any credential.
