National Coalition For Police & Troopers

I was contacted by the "National Coalition for Police & Troopers PAC" on 8/5/20. I can find no listing for them other than as a telemarketing service, and not accredited by Revdex.com. The same day within 20 minutes of each other, I had same phone call from a "Police & Sheriff Support Alliance PAC", which has many negative reviews on Revdex.com & is reportedly a scam. Both of these supposed charities have similar logos on their letterheads, and use the initials PAC following the name of the company, but nothing to identify what the PAC stands for. Both of these are out of Wisconsin, per the addresses on letterhead of invoices received. I will not be sending either of these any money now after checking with the Revdex.com. They are quite aggressive over the phone in trying to obtain a credit or debit card to charge. Everything about both of these companies or whatever they are screams scam. It's a crying shame we have to be so leary of even making donations, but that's the way it is. I will only give locally from now on.
