Review: [redacted]. on 3/1/03 contracted with National Contractors to, among other work, remove existing stucco walls and replace walls with siding to Parcel 407 in the [redacted]. I was not a party to the agreement. While I was at work on 6/12/13 I was advised by email that "the front hose bid was detached by National today as a result of the siding project... and the initial design (approx. 45 years ago) was not installed correctly." The email mentioned "minor impact." In fact, my home had flooded and the contractors cut a hole in my front wall and came in to turn off the water. On 6/13/13 I received an email that "the matter has been determined to be unit owner responsiility..and should be submitted to your homeowners insurance. Sorry." National refused to accept responsibility for that problem, causing approx. $8,000 in damage. [redacted] contacted [redacted] and they, removed the water, placed 9 machines and sprayed chemicals in my home, removed flooring, etc. , and I moved to a hotel for a week. On 6/25/13, returning from work in the evening, discovered the wall they replaced had a gap and dirt and water were flowing in. Called [redacted] and National. They said they had no responsibility. [redacted] nighttime person and my family removed dirt, covered the hole outside with vinyl, and set up fans. 6/27/13 had all my plants/ soil removed as they demanded. Discovered another large hole where they removed the stucco and did not place anything to cover it. Dirt and water again flowing through the open wood into my home beneath the entryway. National Contractors left a flap of paper over the hole so you could not see it. Spent an hour tonight bailing water out. Forced to go through my insurance. Will be months in repair. I am afaraid of National's on-site supervisor and did not call them about this latest problem.Desired Settlement: To date, National Contractors and [redacted] have denied all responsibility / liability for their actions. There have been three separate events of water damage in my home. National's on-site manager and [redacted] and their Management Company, through many emails, have denied all responsibility for their action / inaction. They refused to put these repairs through their insurance and forced me to contact my insurance company, move to a hotel because of the mold, machines and chemical smell. Do not know the extent of damages because of the new events today, but National Contractors and [redacted] need to accept responsibility and cover the damages. And compensate me for negligence and loss-of-use of home. I will have to move to a hotel again when the rest of the floors / rugs are torn up and replaced, walls and insulation removed and replaced.
