Review: this company called York county locator services which is linked to National. People from National are claiming that they are from the York county locator Services. that business does not exist. National (York county locator services)keep calling my work and harassing me, saying that they are coming to arrest me. they even talked to my bosses and told them that they would like to come serve me papers. this has to stop. I'm going to lose my job over this. here is the only number I was given ###-###-####. if there is anyway someone can have them stop calling my work, I would greatly appreciate it.Desired Settlement: please just have this company stop calling my place of employment and harassing me and telling me and my boss that someone is going to come here and arrest me!!!

Review: I have spoken to the company and provided proof that the alledged amount being collected was not correct. I sent a Power of Attorney per their request. Today I received yet another collection notice threatening bad credit. The amount is $21.90. Tonight I sent a note to the organization that National [redacted] is collecting for; see below:

Twice I have gotten collection notices for Reference Number [redacted] stating that my mother, [redacted] is delinquent on her Car Property tax by $21.90. Acting as POA (see attached) I have reviewed her finance records and have found that she paid $75.55 (a total I received by calling the Fairfax County Department of Tax Administration and speaking with one of the representatives). The amount was paid out of my Mother’s [redacted] account the confirmation was [redacted]. The 2001 Honda Civic which was sold in September.

I do not know what the amount on the collection notice of $21.90 is for? I have never gotten billed for this amount?

I am requesting that you drop the collection action ([redacted] in [redacted]) and provide me with a bill or statement indicating exactly what the $21.90 is for, the time period assessed, etc. I feel I am being harassed as I have talked with this company via the telephone in addition to emailing them.

I am under extreme pressure with supporting a parent with Alzheimer’s disease as you can imagine.
