National Critical Care Institute Reviews (4)

Review: I purchased this program for ACLS (CPR) renewal. Upon reviewing the test (where 80% score is required to pass) after failing, I found several questions where multiple answers were appropriate answers. I contacted the organization regarding their erroneous test - I was told that there was no protocol for disputing test scores or reviewing test questions. They did offer me a refund which I took, but I feel it's important that others are aware that this business is selling a test for medical certification which is not accurate and I feel which is set up to fail students in order to get them to purchase their training program which does indicate the correct answer they want to be chosen (despite other answers also being correct based on the American Heart Association ACLS guidelines.Desired Settlement: Site has a medical professional or member of the AHA ACLS group review their testing and training materials. Fix their test to have appropriate answers. Fix their test to have better written test questions. Alternately, this site should not be able to offer ACLS certification services.

Review: I am a healthcare professional who purchased an online ACLS and PALS renewal package from the online vendor, National Critical Care Institute on 8/3/2014. The course was $ 237.90 and $267.90 respectively. These course fees included an overnight shipment of two study manuals and a CD...one study manual for ACLS and one study manual + CD for PALS...these manuals are listed on the invoice/receipt and state that they are to be shipped overnight. I even paid an additional fee for overnight shipment. I have been trying to contact the vendor since Tuesday...I have sent multiple emails through the vendor's website as well as the email that was generated confirming purchase of the courses. The website specifically states that emails will be returned promptly. The last email that I sent was on Thursday, August 7 and I stated explicitly that if my email was not answered that I would contact the Revdex.com. I even called their telephone number listed on my credit card statement: ([redacted]no one answered the phone and the message I received was that the mailbox was full. At 1:35 pm I received an email from [redacted] stating that the manuals had bent sent via email and that they were sent to spam and I obviously deleted them. That assumption is wrong...I have been checking my spam and regular email all week waiting for a reply and I specifically ordered and paid for overnight shipping of two manuals and a CD. I have saved receipts stating that was the merchandise ordered. As of Friday, August 8th at 5:51 pm EST I have not received them. I have not received any notices from UPS, Fed EX, DHS, or the USPS. The manuals were not shipped and since I am under some time constraints to complete the ACLS and PALS courses, I had to go with another provider who demonstrated fantastic customer service and filled my order exactly as purchased. When I send emails and make a phone call to an online retailer and no one responds, I can only assume fraud.Desired Settlement: Reprimand this company for poor customer service and misrepresenting their packaged product. My credit card company has been notified and are investigating the transaction since I did not receive the full product that I ordered.

Review: I am an active duty Army physician. I paid $149 for an online ACLS re-certification course that was completed on June 11, 2014. I received the cards via FedEx and submitted them to my hospital's credentialing office. They refused to accept the cards from this company.

I then attempted to contact the National Critical Care Institute several times using their online form, but each time received an error message. There is no physical address, phone number, or alternate contact information listed on the website. The aclsrenewalonline.com website explicitly states a "100% guarantee."Desired Settlement: Refund my $149 payment.

Review: I ordered an ACLS renewal course from this website. They charged me $217.90 and stated they would send me my booklet and test to renew by ACLS in the mail. It never came, so I contacted them and asked what the issue was. They stated it shows that it was delivered. I told them I did not receive it and they said they would send me a new one. I received a priority mail envelope today from their organization and the envelope was empty. Did not contain anything, no letter, no booklet, NOTHING!!! I paid $217.90 for a renewal of ACLS and they took my money and never sent me the information needed. I am outraged. There is no contact information on the website. You can only send a generic email. This site needs shut down. It's a scam and can't be allowed to continue taking money from healthcare providers!!Desired Settlement: I would like my $217.90 back from this organization for false advertisement and internet scam. They should be shut down and not allowed to continue to take advantage of others.
