Joyce,I just received this letter and was a little taken back.  I just taught [redacted] last night.  She was so wonderful in class.  She was smiling and laughing and dancing all around.I spoked and emailed back and forth with [redacted] at the beginning of the school year about...

her concerns with her daughter.  I was under the impression that she was happy and made her choice to stay in the class and do the recital package.  When she first contacted me about dropping the class I called to talk to her about [redacted].  She was concerned she wasn’t paying attention or learning anything.  I talked to her about how the class is structured and explained what [redacted] was learning and that she was doing great in class.  I also explained how some kids are not ready for class and I ask the parents to wait a year or so before they register them for a class.  She tried it again and said she was happy and was going to stick with the class.  [redacted] has missed a few weeks but still comes to class and does a great job.  Sometimes when they miss weeks and come back they are a little backwards but [redacted] has been great.I know my secretary Jan will go into great details with everyone about the studio policies.  We have posted on our website, registration forms and database that we have a no refund policy.  You can drop out of classes and change classes but we do not give refunds.  If you have paid extra the money will stay in your account for future classes.  If someone does quit in the middle of a session at a discounted rate then the discount is forfeited and they are prorated out based on the per class rate.  If they have purchased the recital package and costumes those would not be returnable.  Every child also has a chance to make up the classes that they have missed.We try our best to provide a safe, fun environment for the dancers to explore the art of dance.  We give families lots of opportunities for discounts and ways to make up classes if they miss any.  I hope this helps resolve this matter.  If you have any other questions please feel free to call.Warmly,Kim S[redacted]###-###-####
