Me and my husband purchased some furniture here back in the beginning of November, we out now in the middle of December. I was told my furniture would be delivered before thanksgiving, well a few days before Thanksgiving I never received a call about my furniture so I called and spoke to Martin the manager of the store who helped us when we purchased the furniture along with the salesman Frank. I asked him if my furniture was on its way because I was told it would be and I was having family coming over so it was important I have it. He was very passive about my worries, he simply didn’t care, he told me he doesn’t control the trucks, that was his response to my worries. So when I got upset he told me he doesn’t know why I’m getting upset. There were some other things said on his part. I’ll just say he was extremely rude and very unprofessional. He should be working on a used car lot not a furniture store. So my husband called the general manager and explained to him what happened. The general manager was extremely apologetic and said he’d try and have our furniture there as soon as possible. Well we received our couch but the frame was bent and out coffee table and end tables couldn’t be delivered because they were on “back order” which when we purchased this furniture they told us nothing about any of it being on back order. A matter of fact they said we’d get all of our furniture before thanksgiving! Anyways like I said we received our couch a few days before thanksgiving with a bent frame and since the coffee table and end tables were on back order they gave us loaners but they only gave us a loaner for the coffee table and one end table not even both end tables???????. So as I write this today is December the 20th and I still have not received my coffee table or my end tables and I’m here with a bent framed couch and loaners. BUT they were sure to send me my bill already for furniture I don’t even have yet??. I’ve never experienced so much unprofessionalism in my life! This is awful!

In response to your letter with the customer complaint ID, ***. ***.A little explanation: The purchase was made 11/7/19. At time of the purchase it was noted, and signed by the customer, that the purchased pieces will require ordering directly from the manufacturer with an expected waiting period of 3-4 weeks. At no point in the initial purchase was it promised to be here by Thanksgiving 11/28, or even before. Our try to get it here by that time was explained to her.I did receive a phone call from the customer, if I remember correctly 11/22, with her demanding a delivery Monday 25th due to the fact she had company coming for the holiday. As part of the conversation I tried several times to explain that I tried everything possible to get her furniture in but it didn’t happen. I did inform her that I am not in charge of scheduling trucks directly from the manufacturer to our store. At no point was I rude, upset or in any way disrespectful – I was understanding to her situation and tried to explain why her furniture hasn’t arrived. Of course she didn’t want to hear my explanation and demanded a delivery the following Monday, 11/25. I responded again with we will try and make things happen, she just said: I expect my furniture Monday, bye and hung up.About an hour later I received a phone call from my manager which she had contacted, and explained to him exactly what happened. We agreed to deliver the sofa, 1 cocktail table and 1 end table (both tables as loaners from our floor) to let the customer have something for the holidays with the side note to deliver/exchange said tables after arrival. At that point in time all seemed well.Several days later we received a phone call about the bent frame of the sofa, and of course agreed to reorder and exchange it. The order was placed and is still pending due to unavailability. The tables have been exchanged 12/23 without any complaint.As result of the customers complaint I will reach out , and get this resolved by offering a billing adjustment as desired by the customer.I have attached the original signed invoice as reference.Please reach out if any other details are required to solve this issue. Hi *** my name is ***. I’m sending this email in regards to a complaint I made against Furniture Liquidators #***. I made this complaint back in the beginning of December. Furniture Liquidators did send a response via my complaint through the Revdex.com. In the statement Martin L (general manager) said that he would contact us to discuss a price reduction. We have never received a call. Nor have we received a call about our couch. This couch was purchased back in November and it was delivered damaged. We still haven’t heard from furniture liquidators, nor has anyone bothered contacting us to let us know when the replacement couch would be here. At this point I would like them to come get the damaged couch and refund my money so I can purchase a couch elsewhere. This has been a lengthy horrible experience. I’m writing this instead of clicking on to accept/deny furniture liquidators response to my complaint because we have not heard from them and nothing has been resolved. Thank you for taking the time to read this email. I hope this matter can be resolved as quickly as possible.Thank you
