As I stated previously I gave this busisness ample time to cancel the transaction before the Sofa was deliveredThe company needs to treat the customer with respect and understand each situation is differentThank you

route to the store. Mr. [redacted] claims that his sales person Mr. [redacted] assured him that he would be getting a refund. Although Mr. [redacted] states that he did not make that statement he states that he only ask for a refund on behalf of Mr. Pleshe. We are willing to give Mr. [redacted] a store credit of $360.00 that was his down payment made.  Store credit is good for anything in the store. Another option is that Mr. [redacted] can pay the remaining balance and receive his sofa originally ordered.

Unfortunately this  issue can only be resolved with the customer paying his remainder balance and picking up his sofa or using store credit. Our store policy clearly states that there or no refunds and that all sales are final.

Review: Furniture was delivered lated and 2 Damaged dinning room chairs

I purchased 2 additional pillows for a sectional back in August 2012 still not received

I purchased a curio for $800 in August 2012 as well I never received my merchandise so I asked to be refunded my monies in Jan 2013 I have not received my money as to date

Review: I ordered a bedroom set from this company. It had the bed, two nightstands, dresser, another larger dresser and mirror. I could not have it delivered before the wedding as our floors in our house were not finished. While on our honeymoon my mother and her friend paid to have the furniture delivered and paid to have the bed put together. (I was not aware of this but he released it to them) My mother and her friend gave this account and will testify to it:

[redacted] Says: The men that came were having trouble with the weight of the furniture. A few of the drawers on the long dresser were coming out as they lifted it and it was super heavy. The steps to the bedroom are more narrow than newer homes. The two delivery men were big guys. It would have been impossible to get the dresser up the steps without some of the drawers falling out and getting ruined so I said they could take them out to make it easier. They and the dresser BARELY fit up the steps. I looked at the dresser in the truck. It was a big truck that they rent and only [redacted]'s furniture was in there and it was light out. From what I could see looking at it there were no major defects and I figured once they got it in I could look at it again. The guys at the end of this story were running late so we said we would put the drawers in, what's the big deal right? Wrong. Once the guys had left my friend and I tried to put the drawers back in and they would not go in right. One had trim falling off and you would never know it from looking at it you actually had to touch it to know it was loose. There is NO WAY we would have see that by just looking at it. Once we actually touched them to put them in you could feel that the one trim was coming off and at the bottom of two drawers paint is missing. Even if the guys were still there we would not have known because we would not have stood there opening and closing the drawers. We do understand there are special clips to hook the drawers in as my friend is very familiar with furniture. It was clear to us that the reason that only some of the drawers were falling forward when they lifted it was because the others were obviously JAMMED in! to date they all do not fit in properly. I IMMEDIATELY called the owner and also spoke with the drivers. This was within 10 minutes of their leaving. At that point [redacted] the owner gave me trouble about that but the two delivery guys called me back and said since they were coming back on Monday they assured me that they would take of the drawers and other issues with it. They did not have time to come back even though it was only 10 minutes. They told me not to worry. They were very nice so I had no reason to doubt them.

I paid $60 for the delivery guys to put the bed together in addition to the $160 deliverly fee. The one man said he had forgotten screws that went for the support of the bed he said he forgot to pick them back up off a table and that he would also bring them on Monday when he brought back the two nightstands. This is written on the receipt so how [redacted] can dispute this is beyond me. This brings me to the other MAJOR issue. BOTH nightstands were damaged. One more than the other. One had a pearl size chip off the top corner which they said they would not replace out but would have a professionla fix but that the other one was clearly majorily damaged and they would get a new one Monday morning in New Jersey at the warehouse. They tol me that they were at the warehouse in New Jersey that day and that one had a major crack and they gave it back and got this new one and MISSED the nick. I saw it right away. The box with that one had clearly been opened and the package and support had been taken out. The OTHER nightstand the only thing opened was one of the top flaps. Other than that all the supporting material and straps were in place. They were very well wrapped and there is no way they looked at it and got that back the way it was. It was so tight and professionally done. It was never looked at and this is the one that had the big crack. At first the owner was trying to tell me over the phone that he checked it himself but I knew he was lying because the delivery guys were upset because they were the ones that picked it up in New Jersey and said they admitted they did not open the other one. So right then and there I knew I was going to have some issues. So they said they were going to go back to the warehouse in New Jersey and pick it up first thing Monday morning and bring everything. They were even telling my friend and I stories of the people at the warehouse dropping entire orders and putting them back on trucks!!! My daughter came home from her honeymoon and called and left [redacted] a message saying that she would not be home Monday morning for the delivery but call her and they would discuss. HE NEVER CALLED HER. Many calls were made by my daughter and I and he just lied and lied one time after another making all kinds of stuff up it just got worse. He was telling me the guys did not know what they were talking about there was no warehouse in New Jersey, they didn't go there, it comes from South Carolina and he was just making up all kinds of stories. Every time we talked and said we were stopping by he said they were going to deliver it the next day. Each call ended this way. He would get hyped up, talk over us and tell us he was going to deliver it the next day. The call last week he stated they came from South Carolina and he was waiting on that and then in the same conversation said he would deliver them on Monday. So one minute he did not have them and the next he was delivering on Monday. He just lies and lies. No call, no answering of his phone. My daughter called him two days ago five times. He finally answered her call the fifth time. He said he had the nightstands in and that he talked to me a few days ago and I was going to pick them up. I NEVER SAID ANY SUCH THING I HAD NOT TALKED TO HIM FOR TWO WEEKS! We talked to him today on a three way call and told him it was such and now he is trying to say he only has one and we are trying to rip him off! If you saw her house and how small her bedroom is the furniture barely fits let alone having three nightstands! We have record of so many calls to him it is really ridiculous. He makes up a different story each time and we just look at each other wondering how someone can lie so much! None of this makes sense whatsoever. So we told him we were going to contact a lawyer and he said you are trying to rip me off and hung up the phone!

I would suggest if you personally call him before showing him this you will see what I am talking about with his talking over you and giving the run around.

[redacted] again: He also stated that the dresser "is not his problem".Desired Settlement: I do love the design of the set but obviously there are flaws. I really do not want to give up the set but feel that because this business is not stepping up to the plate and this man obviously is a crook I feel he should not have the business and should come get the entire set with a full refund as well as the delivery charge which was $160 and the set up which was $60. I feel that only a cash refund will work with this man. I would not trust to give him the set and not have the money. Please help!
