I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me.  I will wait until for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.

But any reference to a bounced check must be removed from public record or I shall consider further action.
Regards,

[redacted] and I spoke on the phone just now.  We have agreed to a split payment.  I am accepting $52.00 from [redacted], and I am then asking my collection company to remove this item from the [redacted] credit report.  The $105.00 was indeed a charge that was owed.  It was for...

a $70 bounced check fee and a $35.00 NSF charge.  [redacted] and I have come to an agreement on this claim.  Please close this claim.  I have received the $52.00 from [redacted].  Sincerely,[redacted]

Buyer beware of new ownership. I have been a long time customer of NHC since I was in my early 20's. I've invested many $$$ throughout the years on various treatments advised by NHC to keep a healthy set of hair. From Propecia to a $4,000 Laser Hat. Unfortunately, my hair keeps falling out. Therefore, I decided to invest into the FUT hair transplant and write a check to National Hair Center for $8,275 for 2500 graphs. I opted for my temples and front of my head. This was 16 months ago and the results are extremely poor. In fact the surgeon told me in a text the results were meager and he was expecting much more. The scar on the back of my head took over a year to fully heal, and the hair growth on my temples is so minimal, I have to shave it to look normal. My $8K investment has to be hidden by a razor blade.

Since the operation, the surgeon now works for another company and NHC is under new ownership. When you purchase a business, you assume full responsibility of that business including all of its current and past clients. The old surgeon told me that NHC always took care of their customers and their satisfaction. In a case like this, NHC would fix the problem and offer another transplant free of charge. At least the previous owners did. The new owners told me to seek out the surgeon and have him redo the surgery. Yes, they wanted me to seek out an ex employee and demand him to redo this surgery. I paid NHC. I did not pay the doctor.

NHC will not assume any responsibility nor will they help me out in any capacity. I advise anyone to remove yourself from being an NHC customer. Do not spend your time or money because they will not treat you like a valid partner.

Dear Dr. [redacted], D.O
I want to thank you for all the careful attention that you and your staff provided me both before, during and after my F.U.T. hair transplant surgery on Sept. 9th, 2014. Everything happened as you had indicated. Everything you and [redacted] said would happen did happen. There were no surprises or any other complications following the procedure. My procedure started at 8AM and ended about 6:20 PM. At no time during the procedure did I feel any pain. It is rare that would you find a doctor after the procedure walking his patient out to his car and carrying my piece of luggage because of the no lifting requirement. You did that for me and I thank you very much for that kind gesture, and then I left for Las Vegas for a short vacation to recover. I did not have any down time but just took it easy for a few days. I had the stitches removed in San Diego 2 weeks later by urgent care D.O. Everything looked good from her opinion. I did promptly receive your check returning the amount I paid for but you were unable to transfer because it exceeded the density requirement and would damage my chances of having it to be a successful take on the grafts. Your promptness and honesty was greatly appreciated. I am now still in the waiting period where the grafts need to start growing. I understand that this can take 3-8 months with results showing in a year. Even without the grafts growing there is no sign with anybody looking at my head that I had a FUT procedure in either the donor site or the reception site. I did think the procedure would be more painful than it was for me. I think your medication protocol has successfully stood the test of the time with your patients. I tried not to take the pain meds that you prescribed on the second night and could not fall asleep until I took the pain med that you prescribed and then quickly fell asleep. The only pain was sensitivity when I put my head on the pillow at night in the donor site. After night 2 there were no more pain sensitivity issues. I can definitely tell you that I was impressed with how long you and your staff worked on me to give me the best chance for a successful procedure. I am sure this kind of work can get very tedious. Please let everyone know that I thank them very much. You have my permission to use this letter as you see fit but would appreciate if you would block the address and cell number. I am willing to talk to any prospective patients that are on the fence.

I was in a year long contract with NHC to experience regrowth of my hair through twice a week treatments. After nine months of treatment I began asking when someone would be reviewing my case to determine if there was any new growth. I continued to ask for an evaluation every month and never received one. At this time, I still don't know if all of the time and money spent was wasted. I would not recommend this company to anyone due to their gross incompetence in handling my case.

Review: I went to national hair centers and purchased a $1050 laser hair therapy and was completely lied to and scammed. I was completely allergic to the shampoos that were given to me to use and was unable to go back to the office because I was so highly allergic to the shampoos that were and had been being used in the office in which I had to go to medical doctors to get help for. After notifying national hair centers I was told it did not matter if I was allergic and I can't be allergic that I can only use my $105 towards an in office credit and for me this was 120% impossible. I wanted a refund considering I was extremely allergic and had only had one hair therapy to notice how terrible my side effects were from the products. I was lied to about the whole procedure from [redacted] so he could make his commission and on to his next person.Desired Settlement: Money refunded

Business

Response:

We have never had anyone have an allergic reaction to our products. We would have had other lines of products to use on him if that was the case.

Additionally, what do we do, or what do you suggest on this account? It has been 13 years since we saw this client. Seems odd that he would try and ask for a refund now.

Thank you

I rarely write reviews, but I felt the need to write a review for NHC. As a woman with hair loss, I can tell you first hand, it can be personally devastating. Thankfully I met Sean and Skylar and they changed my world. I can present myself to the world with confidence now. Sean set me up with the perfect semi permanent hair system for me, and Skylar attached it and styled it with a up to date haircut. I was so afraid I would look like I was wearing a wig, but I don't. I am a customer of NHC for life.

I have had a very bad experience with this place. From the beginning, the results that were told to me was not at all what I received. I specifically asked the person Dave McKenna (no longer there) if I would be able to see scalp in the front. He said no. The amount of scalp that I can see is far beyond anything which I discussed.

I specifically told him that I did NOT want to be out for the procedure because I wanted to be aware of the hair count as the procedure went on. I was knocked out for the whole procedure and with the horrible result, it is pretty clear that I did not get what I paid for.

The customer service with this place is atrocious. Most of the calls I left were not returned in a timely manner and often times I had to call back to get my concern addressed, sometimes this took up to 5 days.

When I last called, I was very upset and told her that I should at least be able to get in for a quick 15 minute consult with Dave or Dr. Cole. I also asked that my email be forwarded to Dr. Cole. Never once did they tell me neither one of them still worked there! Why would you not tell someone this? And why if you were the surgeon would you not tell your client that you are moving? I saw Dr. Cole 1 week before he resigned and moved.

I met with the new director recently and it's been 2 weeks since the meeting, and I have not heard back.

The whole place is shady and is fraudulent. I would stay away from this place! I'm a doctor myself, and I would not make a complaint like this unless completely warranted.

I absolutely love the Staff at National Hair Centers. They are always kind and compassionate with all of my hair loss challenges. I highly recommend them.

Review: This company has failed a fraudulent entry on my wife's and my credit report unethically charging us with a false debt.

This is defamation and I require that it be removed.Desired Settlement: Remove the item from my credit report immediately.

I started PRP treatments with NHL approximately 3 months ago as part of a clinical trial. Everything was explained to me in detail. I had slight discomfort for 30 minutes after the procedure and then I was fine. The staff and Dr. were amazing! I've had 2 treatments 6 weeks apart and one more to go. Hair growth doesn't happen overnight but I have seen thickness where there was little or none before. Very happy with NHL. Thank you [redacted]

A+++++ After a couple of false starts I finally got the right guidance and technical care and my life was changed forever. I mean it! Forever. The transformation NHC helped me create has lifted my spirits and put a smile on my face. The compliments just keep coming. Plagued with fine hair that was getting thinner with age, I now enjoy hair that is strikingly luscious and easy to manage. Ask for [redacted] guidance on making it work for your pocketbook and have [redacted] stylng talents make your hair dreams come true. I live in Tucson but drive to Phoenix because there's no place like NHC.
